£40 Nando's Gift Cards Multipack (2 x £20) for £34.99 delivered at Costco
Posted 8 h, 34 m agoPosted 8 h, 34 m ago
Costco are offering 2 x £20 Nando’s vouchers for £34.99. With the government eat out to help out these vouchers will go a long way!

If you buy a Samsung TV from John Lewis. It's Samsung. Manufacturers warranty trumps all. Buy or rely an extended warranty from the RETAILER rather than a manufacturer at your peril. Again, your credit card company will also cover it. Anyway, off you pop for some rank Nandon'ts and hope they don't go bust before you get there. You clearly don't remember the hoo-haa about HMV gifts cards a couple of years ago.

Another nonsense talking person on here. You think people have never bought stuff and he companies gone bust before they’re got it. Or the item had broke and the company doesn’t exist. If you buy something from John Lewis and they go bust in a year who you think is gonna honour the 2 year guarantee. Because it ain’t the maker of the item. The warranty for the 2nd year is John Lewis. So then what. Wake up open your eyes to the real world and stop living in La La land if you think you’re correct on this.

He's right. Gift vouchers make you essentially a shareholder, but of the lowest denomination. They go bust, you suffer and get nothing. If you buy goods, not only would you be covered by warranty (where applicable) but also credit card/debit card coverage.

They told me that on the weekend that you can't redeem but they are lying as when paying it gives you option to pay with it and I redeemed a whole Chicken

Would these work on the eat out to help out scheme. from what I am led to believe that any voucher which has been Pre-sold is excluded.

3 Camden craft beer cans for £5 at LEON to drink in or takeaway

A very good deal as these are dearer in supermarkets and yiu can drink them in if you wish so much cheaper than pubs. Photo taken at Birmingham new st station.

Haha what and unexpected but an appreciated comment. I see what you did here (lol)

Brewed by Earl, Randy, Crabman and a daytime hooker...

Last time I had Camden Pale Ale it still tasted the same as it had previously. Ignore the marketing and ownership and go with your tastebuds if you like it. There are plenty of other beers out there too, if this isn’t for you.:{

I guess they've checked that their licence allows alcohol off sales

Craft ? its owned by Budweiser firm AB InBev so it’s is & for that reason I’m out sorry op

I dont recommend ever going for these bogof offers. Every time Ive ordered something the quality is rubbish because of the sheer amount of orders they get. Plus the restaurants 99% of the time arent great ones to begin with

Does anyone know how to get this offer? I tap local restaurants, then I've literally added different items to the menu x2 and nothing is on the offer from "the participating restaurants"?

Wow I though it was actually good but this is rubbish only a few restaurants and the only things the they aredoing is chips and drink buy on get one free

Not surprised how restrictive this is

Hi @Hanz_kbar As members have stated you can search via postcode on the GOV website to check which places are taking part in the offer. However it's also good to highlight some of these so thanks for taking the tiome to postr.

I think the mods just pick and choose which deals come up here which are repeated. No real consistency (annoyed)

Here we are:

Of course we will because the mods allow it. People are too lazy to go and look what restaurants etc are participating using the government website search tool, they must see each individual restaurant listed as a deal on this (annoyed)

We will... We will "Daves meat shack and grill in Taunton' 50% Off!

I would go to Spoons for a cheap drink, but prefer other venues and I can afford and am willing to pay more for a better standard of food and a far better dining experience than the type Weatherspoons offer. I don't see that as being uptight or snobbish. I get it's purpose for offering a large venue for people on a budget or students who can't afford something a bit more upmarket.

Thst doesn't improve their safety if they've already dined there and caught COVID. It just means they can track and trace more effectively.

Is that to do with spoon's owner being a hard Brexiteer? If it is, not sure if that affects his business at all. He has 56% of England (and even more if you exclude London) as his potential customers.

The meal deal includes a drink. The whole deal is half price with a non-alcoholic drink. With an alcoholic drink a nominal price is set for the drink and the rest is 50% off.

Seems that way :D

Good price but the food we had was pretty badly cooked and cold. We were initially overcharged too. Can't recommend Southport morrisons cafe I'm afraid.

Personally I don’t care if they give it away. I’m not eating indoors in a public restaurant....

Its your choice where you eat out,its not all junk food.everything in moderation is probably fine. And if your active then there's less chance of becoming obese.Lots of things point to todays society being lazy.Take it on yourselves to do something about it.Why are we paying sugar tax ? or any tax ?.Because were buying stuff we like too or have to. Lets give up smoking because its bad for us ( oh,and we block up the Hospitals ),lets not drive because its bad for the enviroment ( road tax and the tax in petrol ).Probably just on those alone would break the country if we all stopped.People will do what they want to,and pay the tax to do it.

Don't go to another household, don't have people in yours, wear a facemask in shops but feel free to go to morrisons cafe for an unmissable deal.

The whole scheme is insane when it specifically excludes takeaway or home delivery, which would have made sense to offer too from a purely financial perspective.

Sometimes Pizza Express staff are unsure about offers stacking. I have had them refuse me using 2 offers even when they should stack and have used in another branch. It all depends on staff. Maybe the free dough balls are actually excluded, either way it's a bargain.

Whether it makes sense to you or not the scheme is intended to get high street businesses back up and running again. By the sounds of it, your gripe should be that the scheme exists at all, not that it doesn’t exist for takeaways.

my comments regarding covid is the main argument regarding the scheme. on one hand were told not allow others into our homes due to local lockdown measures and then on the other hand were told to eat out and help out. go sit in a restaurant with others. don't make no sense to me.

Takeaways are not intended to be helped by this, and this is clearly indicated by the fact that it is called ‘eat out to help out’. Takeaways don’t particularly help enliven the high street (although they do unfortunately take over a lot of streets) and they don’t help the millions of waiting staff and other people who work in the restaurant industry who are effected by COVID. Your comment about ‘spreading more germs’ is irrelevant to the facts of the scheme. It feels like your primary complaint is that you want cheap takeaways, and takeaways absolutely do not need any help as they primarily operate on takeaway (hence the name) and are therefore set up to deliver and package goods to take out. A little bistro with quaint tables in a candle lit ambience with higher building rates is not set up in the same way. As I said, the fact people like McDonald’s are included is confusing people. It is extremely conceivable that if this scheme were extended to takeaways then it would have the adverse effect, and people who would otherwise have gone out for something to eat will instead plonk themselves in front of the TV and order food instead - this would then play into the hands of multinationals and could finish off the smaller businesses who are not cut out for takeaways.

so what your saying is it does make sense for people to go out and possibly spread more germs? unfortunately corporations such as McDonald's and kfc are more powerful than the independent restaurants. I agree the fact that the scheme is not just supporting the big corporations but also the smaller independents. people who were furloughed have been helped out by the government 80% and some employers topping the rest up. The restaurants and take aways suffered the most in lost revenue and in my view this scheme is to help them.

How do the unlimited drinks work? Can't see a price for it or mention of it anywhere in the menu??

Think I need to start looking for lycra only clothing now! ;)

Umm, dunno but wither way it doesn't matter. 50% off is effectively the same as BOGOF, just for one person. Repeat if you need food for a second person.

With the meerkat was it just the starter that was bogof then the buffet and drinks at 50% off? Tia

I understand, but you know that I'm getting at. The govt was wanting to give 50% to encourage you to pay 'full price' to the restaurants. I guess like you say footfall is more worthwhile than profit. I dread to think how much the cost price of a pizza to make is, £2?!

I actually tried this yesterday and was fairly impressed. The pizzas was pretty good. The bases definitely was not from frozen. Likely the dough itself comes in frozen balls. And is left to prove then rolled out in semolina flower (I used to work for pizza express and that's how it is done there).

I mean, if you're looking to get a week sick off work, and by "best" you mean the best way to get food poisoning, then I 100% agree with you. You could even send a greasy doner kebab in after it just to seal the deal.

now i have the song in my head XD

For what it's worth our local Stonehouse is pretty good to be honest. The service is little on the slow side but the pizzas and carvery taste great. No Burberry to be seen in ours. Always thought it was pretty good value for food even before they started this promotion and the Government started paying for half our meal...

3 course meal for £10 at the popular Marco Pierre White restaurants using the eat-out-to-help-out scheme during August. Not my favourite steakhouse, but seems a good deal for £10

This sort of thing has been going on for years and the new eat out scheme is being abused already. I know my local mcdonalds is giving the discount on drivethrough too.

Genuine receipts for fake customers ( nothing cooked or served ) costs nothing , paying A reduced tax rate then claiming back £20 on every meal , not forgetting ringing in alcohol as “beverages” to bump the bill up for rebate purposes. Ideal time for dodgy restaurant owners to team up with drug dealers to launder money and get a big bonus from HMRC.

This is the government you are on about . Nothing to stop dodgy owners claiming for non existent customers and putting in fake receipts , being taxed 5% or whatever on them , then claiming the 50% back

I would think they have to prove something surely
