If you buy a Samsung TV from John Lewis. It's Samsung. Manufacturers warranty trumps all. Buy or rely an extended warranty from the RETAILER rather than a manufacturer at your peril. Again, your credit card company will also cover it. Anyway, off you pop for some rank Nandon'ts and hope they don't go bust before you get there. You clearly don't remember the hoo-haa about HMV gifts cards a couple of years ago.
Another nonsense talking person on here. You think people have never bought stuff and he companies gone bust before they’re got it. Or the item had broke and the company doesn’t exist. If you buy something from John Lewis and they go bust in a year who you think is gonna honour the 2 year guarantee. Because it ain’t the maker of the item. The warranty for the 2nd year is John Lewis. So then what. Wake up open your eyes to the real world and stop living in La La land if you think you’re correct on this.
He's right. Gift vouchers make you essentially a shareholder, but of the lowest denomination. They go bust, you suffer and get nothing. If you buy goods, not only would you be covered by warranty (where applicable) but also credit card/debit card coverage.
They told me that on the weekend that you can't redeem but they are lying as when paying it gives you option to pay with it and I redeemed a whole Chicken
Would these work on the eat out to help out scheme. from what I am led to believe that any voucher which has been Pre-sold is excluded.
