Obviously a very good price for this album but their earlier Greatest Hits, "Staring at the Sea" is better IMHO. Comparing the two, this one bins a load of excellent tracks from the earlier days in favour of what I would say are lesser tracks from the post-"Head on the Door" period.

I'm voting hot on this for price but to get the true flavour of this great band you need the other one.

Problem is a lot of the best Cure songs are not "hits" (singles)

Greatest Hits was aimed at the American Market, Join The Dots is THE best Cure compulatiin by a landslide

Greatest hits albums are always aimed for the masses. IMO, those listeners do not have the ear to enjoy what is on Join the Dots and I agree with CoenFan that 'Staring at the Sea' is a better flavour.
