About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I guess Dark Souls 1 needs no introduction by now. The PC version seems to have some issues, but apparently there's a patch to make it a bit less buggy.

sorted byComplete BS, you obviously haven't played it. I've put in many hours into both 360 and PC versions and can confirm the PC version plays brilliantly. Post GFWL I'd say online is even better than ever.

I think what he means is DSFix allows 60 frames. But the game mechanics are still running at 30.
unlockFPS 1
Completely untrue on both counts.
They were down, but are back up now.

I hope you're right. Will save a lot of messing about..
The game runs at 30fps, not 60. Like skyrim, the engine's physics are tied to the game's native 30fps.
Oh I see, that makes sense.
My point, though, was that a clean vanilla install of DS from steam will run at a locked 30fps, this has not been updated to include the option from dsfix (source: I've just reinstalled the game).
Man, I guess I must been passed out on the floor dreaming for the 51 hours Steam says I played of it.
51 hours? Is that all you 'casul'?! :P
Would agree, the PC version is now probably the superior version and I say that owning both the PS3 and PC versions.
This is a great deal and would recommend it to anyone yet to play this ground breaking game. Heat from me.

Beyond that, yes, the PC port could have been better - it's capped to 30fps and the internal rendering resolution is 1024x720, and that doesn't increase when you increase the resolution in settings, it still renders at that resolution and then just upscales to whatever you've set it to. But the DSFix patch does fix that - set it to 1920x1080 and it will render and output at that resolution, which makes all the difference. Increase the framerate if you want, but as other people have noted the framerate is tied to the physics in this game engine so it can cause issues with jumping, etc.
Bottom line is, I don't know what all the complaints are about - it's a real glass half full/empty situation. Yes, they could have taken the opportunity to make the PC version a huge technical improvement over the console versions, yet they just didn't bother. But it hasn't been made worse than the console versions and that still leaves you with a great game.

Hope that is just temporary.
Still waiting 24 hours later. They have replied to my email though, so you know, every cloud.

Thanks for confirming this. I ordered this last night so hoping to get the keys soon.
And the price on this game has gone up now: £19.99.
Sent them an email but since it's Sunday we're probably out of luck until tomorrow at least, unless the code manages to turn up on its own today.
Still, on the bright side, this ought to free up some time for college work!
UPDATE: Just checked their Facebook page and somebody with the same issue got a response:
"We have run out of these keys and will be sourcing more ASAP but unfortunately won't be until tomorrow at the earliest."
" The keys will be added to you account and you will receive a confirmation email."
Still not great but at least we know what's going on now!
