Really good monitor. I got it last year for £280. It has great colors, brightness, and contrast, and a good panel. The only problem is, you need really good specs to get 144 fps. I have an Intel i7 12700 and an RTX 3070, and I really struggle to get 100 fps in COD or more demanding games, even on medium settings. It's like something between 1440p and 4K. So, you really need a good machine to use its potential.

Decent price for a 34" but only 1440p, low contrast ratio and slow response time, I would not recommend it for gaming

You might be able to get a quicker panel (iyama G-Master get down to 0.4ms, and AOC's 1ms), but when you take into account any monitor lag of 20-30ms it really doesn't matter. Higher refresh rates too, but again is 165hz really noticeable against 144hz?

For this price you won't get a better contrast ratio or hit 4k at 34" ultrawide. You'll easily be doubling the price for an increased resolution - plus the cost of the GPU to drive it, if we're talking gaming.

This is about the price for 1440p of this size in my opinion. Not sure how the Dell stacks up against other similarly priced offerings however.

I know there's no time machine but I got this for £220 last year from Dell.

Ive had this monitor since launch and paid around 350 and paired it with r7 5800x and rtx 3080. Still struggles with keeping up 144 fps in majority aaa games unfortunately. Great monitor, but after those few years it should be at least £100 cheaper. (edited)
