Click "go to deal" then click "price" in the table to list the cheapest item first. If there aren't any listed, press "filter results" a few times and one might appear if it's been removed from someone's basket...

Is 8GB really any use? I ve had a 10" Sharp with a 15Gb hard drive for a few years and it has been a constant battle for hard drive space to the point I added a 16Gb CF card in the pcmcia slot.

Thanks:thumbsup: I was struggling to fidn one as well, I'd already filtered by price but the cheapest system was a mini10 - I refreshed a few times after reading this and one appeared:-D

Order placed, just need to sell my old mini9 with no WWAN and my unlocked dongle now and I'll have a new warranty and integrated WWAN for very little or no money. H+R from me

There aren't an infinite supply. There were 3 pages of these an hour ago, but now there is just the 1. You may find they appear as they drop out of peoples shopping carts every 15 minutes.

I just got a call from Dell. Apparently my order went through stating I was tax exempt. Took about 2 minutes to understand what the Indian guy was talking about. Slow down sir...

There used to be periodic drop times when dell 'dropped' more outlet stock onto the system.

Does anyone know if thats still the case?

Was the 136.51 including VAT or was that just the net price?

Lunchtime there was a page full of them. Grabbed one at £136.51. 10 mins later there were none!

XP & basic apps will nearly fill the 8Gb ram. So now looking for lowest price 16Gb class 6 sdhc to park /My Documents. Lowest found so far is Amazon/Transcend at £21.49 delivered free by 7-day shop which is cheaper than on their own site. Any better offers?

The pre-installed software is vodafone but the modem is unlocked. I'm using one with an Orange SIM to post this reply.

Excellent machines mine cost about £180 a few months back.

Check out mydellmini for loads of details.

How did I miss this, gutted

Don't worry they'll come back - they've been knocking them out onto the Dell UK Outlet several times now since the Dell Mini 9 range was retired.

    Cheers, Scotty Boy!

thanks for info on the 3g hardware being unlocked..

would recommend running mint7 on one of these, just did an install this week, and everything worked with little work and still about 3GB free after installing lots of apps. very fast, and very similar to windows in use. (i started the installed XP once and laughed at how slow it was. it was about as quick to replace it as to try to clean dell's install up and much more satisfying)

edit: you can run it off a usb stick (2GB+) to check it all out before touching your xp install
