I thought the exact thing. Every article I saw regarding the game I ignored, I had ZERO interest.

I then played the Beta and was hooked!!!

ALL ORDERS PLACED BEFORE THE 05/09/14 WERE DISPATCHED OVER THE WEEKEND VIA ROYAL MAIL VIA FIRST CLASS.

Secondly, anyone who pre-ordered the headset/game bundle before the 03/09/14 will be getting the headset as that is when stock ran out.

Thirdly, anyone who pre-ordered at £45 will be refunded £5 if price stays same within 48 hours back on to there card, regardless if they used any clubcard vouchers etc. Anyone who used just clubcard vouchers will get a £5 voucher back.

To double you need minimum £5, it doesn't need to be in multiples of £5, so £6 will double to £12, but £4.99 will stay £4.99

I dunno, its just weird. All the PS4 owners seem to just come out of the wood work whenever ANY PS4 deal is posted - it then rises to the top. And any dig at the Xbone gets silly amount of 'Likes'. Its just like the Android/Apple "fanboy war"... pretty cringey oO

I'm sure I've read that the distributor (Activision?) isn't allowing copies to be dispatched until the day before release (i.e. today - Monday). Presumably due to piracy fears (although the game is already on the torrent sites). Perhaps some smaller suppliers have sent the game out before today, but I'd imagine a big supplier such as Tesco would have to play by the rules.

Don't see why so many people are complaining though. If you don't get it on release date then so what? Hardly the end of the world. That's the risk with mail order. If you want guaranteed day one play, go to your local store and buy a full-price copy. The way I see it, I'm getting the game (plus a free headset) for £15 less than I would pay in my local Sainsburys. That's a pretty good deal, even if it does arrive a day late...

In my experience though, Tesco have always delivered a pre-order on release date.

I agree, if we had not used the voucher in the first place, we'd had still got it for the same price and we would still have a £5 voucher to use on a different game.

Yep they are reversed, however I've changed the mic cable with a standard cable and they work fine.

I have ordered but noticed it says "subject to availability" for the free headset and T-shirt
We all might just get the game and Tesco could say they have no freebies left.

I placed my order for Destiny back in June but they updated my order to include these, just an FYI for those placed their order earlier.

Delivery 'on or before 13th September'... Err what?

I had a delivery date of the Saturday after for Watch_Dogs which was also released on a Tuesday. I still got it on release day. Hope that helps anyone!

@ £40 it's one of the cheapest pre-orders I've seen for this game, so I'd have ordered without freebies, but it's always nice to have some freebies chucked in (if available)

just called customer service and he confirms that it does say free … just called customer service and he confirms that it does say free headset on the website but no other internal literature mentions the headset...only the T-shirt and they say it could be between the 9th and the 13th for delivery..no guarantee delivery on the 9th:( I cancelled. Its also false advertising but they're aware of this. Shame:( Still, on the bright side, ill still be buying it from Tesco at midnight because i wouldn't support "GAME" since they became corporate A-holes over the last few years and only seem to employ muppets who generally don't play games to run their shops.:)Read lessRead more

Just a heads up to anyone that's looking to buy for the headset. I bought this headset separately a few months ago from ASDA for use with my PS4. Absolutely shocking, poor build quality, feels like I could break it very easily, very uncomfortable, makes my ears very hot after a while. There is also a slight delay/lag with the sound and also the mic is very quiet, with people not being able to hear me unless i talked very loud. Returned it literally 2 days later.
