Be aware that the developers have cut console players adrift and the game is no longer updated. Only the PC version is still updated going forwards.

Wonderful game but because of it's scope can take a while to get into. I played on PS and it looked beautiful. There's still lots to do and discover even though it's not being updated for consoles anymore. Maybe consider No Mans Sky as an alternative that is being supported.

Shame it stopped being supported, still it's a lot of game for the money, and the kind of thing you could only dream of playing the old one on the Amiga like I did back in ye olden days.

Don't give Frontier any money on console for Elite. Whilst it's a great game, console support was removed a few years ago and it is pretty dead. They made their choice, so should you.

Even if the game is no longer supported, it is still an awesome game.

I wish I had more time to play it.
