Im trying to find something worth a couple of pounds to get my total to £150. Anyone know of anything? Im 2p short.
Ordered 4 games using the code to save £20 but in the order it hasnt broken down the discounts per game like it normally does. Shows them at full price (Even without the prime discount) but with the order total having £20 off + the £8 prime discount. (
So stops me from know what price each game will be at the points of delivery. (I like to keep an eye on them with the pre-order promise and cancel close to release if cheaper else where)

Never had an issue with the site and used it multiple times, using both a debit card with a debit card (via PayPal, verified by Visa enabled card) and a credit card from said bank, all the while using my Derbyshire address as the 'ship to' address. I've also used laptops, iPads and iPhones to make these orders from both Sky fibre and the o2 network. Just trying to emphasise the point here that all this VPN talk is nonsense, for some reason somewhere their anti fraud measures are blocking your purchases.
Well said. I wonder if there's some sort of 'soft' credit check (that doesn't affect your credit history), though I'm pretty sure they'd have to make that clear.
In any case, there's obviously some logic at work.
You might be on to something there. If you look at previous orders, it also shows credit limits for daily and monthly spending
Those aren't credit checks. Those are fraud prevention measures. It is to prevent people from buying up their entire inventory with phony credit cards.

Ah I see! Thanks

actually i got lucky and went around the system. ordered 15 bronze packs per 1 voucher code. giving me 150 steam keys.
Dunno why this is cold, its not like square would give you 88 seperate game keys for as little as £3.99 surely?

So it makes sense theyd give you 11 steam keys for bundles of 8 games. If money is tight why not split the cost of £3.99, £6.99 or £13.59 between 11 of you then? Seriously i dont get this site sometimes.
Incidentally, if anyone is willing to trade some codes for ones from other packs (admittedly not same value, but help each other out) I am game. Just PM me!

Edited By: ssimonian on Apr 15, 2017 07:11
Ok. So Steam keys appear to be a single steam key for all the games in one. Then you receive a series of coupons which you can give to others. They can redeem this using the following link:

https://store.eu.square-enix.com/w/discovery-sale/redeem

And then redeeming the code as long as you have account and haven't bought before. Amusingly you can actually redeem all the codes through 1 account that has not bought the product before.

Console sub ~£300 and my tablet cost me £115, but you can pick up a great tablet for £70-80. I'm still about £250 better off whichever way you spin it. Laptops and notebooks are utterly redundant in this day and age for anything other than home computing, which if you have the space you are 10x better off performing on a desktop. The market knows this. That's why you have hundreds of % increase in ATX and form-factor builds breaking through the market and literally no advancements in the laptop/notebook area(except for maybe wi-fi which phones have been improving on for years)(lol!)
Even GPU's are being designed with small towers in mind - Nobody is designing anything new for laptops because they know it's becoming redundant and hardware doesn't need to advance to complete the tasks people want to buy a laptop for. CPU and RAM capability is all WAY down on even the most up to date laptops rendering them often slower than smartphones.
New snapdragon smartphones have quad-core CPU's that would easily match this 'gaming' laptop.
I can't be bothered with you're petty 'argument' but the fact that you don't see how useless a piece a technology a laptop is, definitely shows the kind of idiots that such a 'deal' is marketed towards.
What are you smoking? My laptop has an i7 and a 1070 gtx so I don't think you quite know what you are talking about. and I don't know what up to date laptops you are referring to which have inferior performance to smart phones. I have a gaming laptop, a gaming pc and shock horror a couple of consoles. They all have their pro's and cons. I see and live in a world where they all have their places.
You know reading comprehension is a thing right? I didn't claim that up to date laptops have inferior performance to smart phones. I said that up to date smartphones have superior performance to THIS laptop.
Also it's sweet that you feel you need to defend your laptop with an I7 1070. How much did it cost you? You'll see (with reading comprehension again) that you would have paid a ridiculous amount of money for your laptop because I can say in all certainty that you didn't pick that up for less than £1,700 with those specs. If you show me otherwise i'll eat my hat.
You must also surely realise that the 1070 is inferior to the 980Ti, the 1080, The 1080Ti and the Vega 10? As well as crossfire anything above RX480's.That's not exactly a powerhouse, it even benchmarks similar to old generation cards.

thanks picard, now which phone should i be getting to play the witcher 3? and which one has a decent size screen?
Do none of you claim ownership over the basic English language?
The debate was not about whether smartphones can run AAA titles - FYI they can't, yet.
Using your example -the debate was about whether it was worth dropping £650 on a laptop that might not even run the Witcher 3 at 30 FPS when you can buy a console that will at least output 30fps for sub £300.
Also the comparison between smartphones and laptops is aimed primarily at the CPU performance and overall PROCESSING performance of the devices. I doubt this laptop would even be able to play the Witcher 3 at all so in your debate (which is a hilarious example) neither a smartphone or a laptop can run the Witcher 3.
Can you people learn to pick up a book or something, because absolutely none of you know how to take context from a statement.
irony is strong, this is a laptop thread - end of
Bore off, uneducated.
wow, uneducated ... again irony
lets start with the witcher, this laptop plays it - not amazingly but medium 720p is easy enough thus 'probably wont play' blatantly incorrect
console plays it higher res but afaik framerates arent anything to shout about
then you go on about relevance/context - as a phone cant play 'any AAA' games bringing it up is irrelevant
how is the screen size on the phone?
how is the screen on the console? just keep it in your pocket?
how does your console run photoshop etc?
ever heard of allowing people to decide what they want rather than forcing your own 'educated' opinion of their 'needs'? guess not
Because paying £650 for a laptop to play TW3 at 720p 23FPS is a smart thing to do. Nothing opinionated about that, that's straight up facts son.
You have made me chuckle though - photoshop on a laptop with these specs is hilarious.
I'm done giving you my time, frankly I enjoy the salt of idiots, but please, do carry on giving greedy corporate manufacturers your money.
numbers i can see for witcher at 720p medium range from 43-65fps depending on exact spec
console hovers around 30

photoshop on a laptop with these specs is less laughable than photoshop on console though eh? btw you can run photoshop fine on much lower spec pc than this so again you haven't a clue

i love these facts though - keep em coming

You must also surely realise that the 1070 is inferior to the 980Ti, the 1080, The 1080Ti and the Vega 10? As well as crossfire anything above RX480's.That's not exactly a powerhouse, it even benchmarks similar to old generation cards.
EDIT: Point and case: http://www.ebuyer.com/770260-gigabyte-p35x-v6-cf2-gaming-laptop-p35x-v6-cf2?mkwid=s_dc&pcrid=51508044419&pkw=&pmt=&gclid=CjwKEAjwz9HHBRDbopLGh-afzB4SJABY52oFlJbE7yF8CILTmtO_f9IrajZz_My5kq0emin6jOz_XRoC09Hw_wcB
thanks picard, now which phone should i be getting to play the witcher 3? and which one has a decent size screen?
Can you people learn to pick up a book or something, because absolutely none of you know how to take context from a statement.
irony is strong, this is a laptop thread - end of
Bore off, uneducated.
wow, uneducated ... again irony
lets start with the witcher, this laptop plays it - not amazingly but medium 720p is easy enough thus 'probably wont play' blatantly incorrect
console plays it higher res but afaik framerates arent anything to shout about

then you go on about relevance/context - as a phone cant play 'any AAA' games bringing it up is irrelevant
how is the screen size on the phone?
how is the screen on the console? just keep it in your pocket?
how does your console run photoshop etc?
ever heard of allowing people to decide what they want rather than forcing your own 'educated' opinion of their 'needs'? guess not

OP - It's now £32.99 :) +Heat added as it's the cheapest on PC I've seen so far + I am really looking forward to this!

And that guy said prices don't change!
I can't find it cheaper on pc anywhere else so heat from me.

People probably voting cold because it's far away launch and no beta yet... I will be pre ordering anyway as I loved playing destiny on Xbox, raids such as vault of glass made the game.. should be so much better on PC
johnthehuman
It won't be £44 though. If they can "sell" it for £34 now, it'll be £34 in September.
You're not 'pre-ordering' anything, you're giving someone money for nothing.
Pre-ordering is a thing you do only when there's a limited run of a physical item, and you want to get your name down on the list of people who'll get one. Preordering a digital title is ridiculous.

Some people like to be prepared.. and what if someone has money now and they'd like to pay in advance in case they cannot afford the game at the time? - Don't label people ridiculous when you haven't even considered their reasons for pre-ordering a game.

aha I see. The description is pretty poorly worded too...

Looks to be a decent price for a good mouse, not sure why it's so cold.

Been using a Xai and wired Sensei for several years, great mice for lefties :)
You can plug the USB cable from the dock directly into the mouse if you want to use it wired otherwise it is wireless. Really good mouse as long as you've got fairly small hands.

Again, *please* read my sources. EA de-activated Far Cry 4 keys that people had bought "legally", paid with through PayPal, sellers with good feedback. Good luck getting PayPal to refund you when you're caught with illegal keys.

Yes, I got the same on two browsers. The url ends with 'onepage', all I got was three headings, but no content below it, and no way to proceed.
I contacted LiveChat, they suggested adding my name / billing address under account settings. I did it, and it now works normally. Give it a whirl!:)
Worked a treat and i made a purchase of the game via paypal, will they email a code to use in the steam client?
thanks
If the purchase status says 'completed', then you should get both an email and details of the key in your account area. Their FAQ does say 'up to 72 hours', but most sites are way quicker than that - some are pretty much instant.

If it still has the SP (Smart Pistol) gun in it, which killed off Titanfall, i'll wait until its £5...
Still cant believe the developers put a gun in a game that is almost like 90% aimbot! :(
It's only available as a boost. I was a smart pistol hor in t1. There was skill in is effective use though as standard weapons can pick you off before you lock on with it.

Single player is great fun, some really nice level design which makes up for the gunplay being a bit meh.
The multiplayer has around 2800 online at the moment. It's awesome at the start but I think most people get bored of it after a while hence the low population count. Still only takes 30secs or less to find a game. Good for a quick blast to kill time.

I've tried to buy twice now without success. They blocked both payments until I had sent a photo of my ID, they did not approve either attempt after sending ID saying I was a security risk.
I created an account on the site and paid with credit card - no joy.
I logged in to the site using my google account and paid with paypal - no joy.
Anybody else have any bother?

Did they ever fix ME1 on PC so it's actually playable without crashing?

I finished Mass Effect a couple of weeks ago without any crashing at all (my OS is Windows 7). Currently playing through Mass Effect 2.
Nice game, will have a try for this! Thanks.

Tempting but I'd end up pirating them again after buying so I can actually play the DLC..
You can use pirated/decrypted DLC with legit copies of the game on PC (so I heard!) so you could always do that and then at least you've thrown some money BioWare's way, plus you should also be able to unlock DLC achievements on Origin. The situation with the DLC for these games is ridiculous, though. I think I've previously worked out that it would cost something like £80 to get all DLC across all three games, because it's never come down in price over the years, is hardly ever on sale, they've never done any sort of complete bundles for any of the three games or the trilogy and you have to buy BioWare points to buy the DLC and they're never on sale either, plus you'll have to buy more than you need because you have to buy them in certain amounts. Pretty crazy for a popular series of games that are now 10, 7 and 5 years old, respectively.

I don't even think the dlc for bioware ME games are even on Origin anymore, don't you have to by it from the bioware own site now.

For those looking to play these, they had Mass Effect 2 for free on Origin a couple weeks back - so I downloaded it, not sure if its still on the free games list but worth checking. From my memory of playing a bit of ME1 and all of ME2 and ME3 the first time around on xbox360, I think ME2 was the best. Also, download the ALot textures mod as mentioned above. Its a bit of a fiddle to install, but its free and updates a large portion of the game textures to modern standards - holds up pretty well.

There is the ''ALot texture packs'', what he failed to mention is the absurd amount of time it'ill take you to install them: (1 day, possibly longer if you own a potato), and the difference they make is small, dont belive the waffle. Just get the ''Gampad mod, ENB and Reshade and enjoy.

It's still showing as free when I visit the site from my mobile... I would post an image as proof but not sure how to. Could this be linked to PS Plus?

Most likely you've previously bought it in one form or the other, hence it appearing as free for you on cross buy.
was PS plus a while back.

does anyone have a link where they can get this cheaper? or why its a bad deal?
The game is a critical and commercial flop, expect prices to tumble rapidly

That may be the case, but surely the deal is the deal at the time of posting, otherwise nothing would ever be a deal as if you wait in most cases prices would come down.

i5 6600k / gtx1080 / 1440p / solid 60fps

There is a handy little Digital Foundry video that looks into the quirks of the game.

I hope they sort it out for everyone as its pretty dam good so far!
Wondering if I can run it properly @3440 x 1440p on a non x Fury
Great game but crashes (white screens) at around the 20 minute mark for me, before any save points.

Apparently this is an issue with newer AMD cards and the latest drivers (you can roll back but may experience a less efficient experience). Awaiting an update from either Square or AMD till it's playable (decent deal mind!)

This game is fantastic. Crazy, doesn't fit in one genre, beautiful soundtrack. Can't say much more without spoilers. Few games are worth full price these days, this is.
Be aware that the PC version has several issues. List of issues, including some fixes.
I had the resolution issue, which was resolved with the Borderless Gaming app. Couldn't maintain 60fps at all times (i5-4690K, 16GB RAM, GTX 970), but the drops weren't enough to ruin it - not even close.
What resolution was you running it at?

1080p. 1440p drops to 30-40fps.
MikeLondon
I'm running at 4K max settings but AA off, on a 1080, runs fine for me.... no window issues.

Good to know. 1440p on a 1080 here. Didn't download quick enough last night to play it yet.

I really want this game, but it seems to keep dropping, and I still need to finish Watch Dogs 2, so should I wait for it to drop?
It will likely keep dropping, for reasons I won't state the prce will keep getting lower to encourage SALES if ya get my drift.
Yeah, the drm got broken'ish. You can download hooky copies now (alot of people who purchased legit through Steam are actually downloading the cracked copy, so they can save in offline mode)
The game is online dependant, the reason I didn't , and won't purchase.
you have to be online to save? no buy from me then
saves online arent compatible with saves offline during a mission - unlocks "unlock" offline now however. So if you never play online ......
oh right if you have an option to play offline then that isnt too bad

i got this game free with my graphics card (i have completed all previous hitman games) and it blew my mind how good it was. Turn off all aids and it is an amazing sandbox game, epsecially with the online new elusive targets when u have to find and kill them every few weeks (1 attempt only). 40 hours in and ive only done 50% of challenges, assassinations for all the levels.
