I don't think it's true that people who like Elvis will have these songs. I love Elvis...doesn't mean I own any of his albums??
I often have Greatest hits type cds of some artists (who hasn't got Queens greatest hits?)...doesn't mean you would buy all the albums on release.
I bought this because I am partial to a bit of Elvis but don't want to hear every album track.
Taking the OP's word on the recordings being original studio this is a great deal !

In which case, you don't 'love' Elvis at all.
U don't love him then... u like him... I love Linkin Park... Hence I own all of their albums, and have all their songs... so a greatest hits for them would be useless to me.
Well if we're going to grade how much we like/love something...
I love Queen more than you because I own all their albums and if you don't believe me i'll get my Dad onto you!

I did own some of his albums on cassette and vinyl but no longer have a cassette player or record deck and I also borrow my Dads albums. I have some of his stuff on my Mp3 too.
Now...please can someone tell me how many songs I know by heart qualifies me to 'love' Elvis??
Will I need to have a shrine set up in my house and take an annual trip to Graceland?
I am not dating an Elvis impersonator, will this scupper my chances of loving Elvis?
By the way, when I state I love Elvis, It means I love his music...I am not actually in love with him??!

I love Elvis even more now that he is The Arsenals Official Song (The Wonder of you),but that song aint on the CD ,and neither is Suspicious Minds (his best song imo!!)

Not stressed at all...shocked by some peoples inability to take things a little less literally.
Obviously going down to my local fish and chippy tonight does not appeal to me as I don't LOVE Elvis...now if Freddie Mercury was serving up the cod...that would be another story. I have all the Queen albums, therefore I LOVE him.

Well on a scale of 'Loving' Queen I obviously don't LOVE them that much as my collection was only worth about 5 grand.
Maybe I just reaaaalllllly like them?
I had to sell most of my rarities a few years ago so obviously my rating has slipped on the 'Loveometer'.
Not as low as a 'cold fish' but not as high as 'Superlover' I don't think.
If those of you who are qualified to grade 'love' (and you know who you are!) could let me know my official rating it will stop me making this wild claims in future!
