Recently bought Eufy scales, tried to sync with Google fit, Google simply told me that Eufy app is banned due to trying to access personal information and isn't on their compatibility list anymore

I’ve got these. Really good, and simple to use with the app. I think some of the body water % and fat % are all a little bit made up, but in terms of tracking weight, it’s really excellent. Good price too.

Do you need to open app every time you weight or it has built in memory that syncs later on?
    dickie_engine's avatar
The latter. if you use it after several 'unconnected' measurements, it prompts you that there are unassigned measurements, that you can then claim to your profile.

I did a lot of research on scales. Don't use digital, if you can help it. Go for a mechanical scale at a budget of £20-30. Salter or another reputable brand.

Agreed. I had some really unpredictable results with digital scales a while back and discovered that it could come out with results several LB off from minute to minute, and the more I dug into reviews found many people had similar.

Analogue does work better for some things, and budget scales are one.

Had these since the last deal and got to say I love them. Agree with most about fat percentage and water percentage, not really sure how accurate these are for that. But what they do quite nicely is give you a good idea and hold you accountable. The weight is always accurate as I have another set of different brand scales right next to them as reference and they always align. Having a push notification to tell you it's time to weigh yourself and having all the data to hand is brilliant. Received mine March 12th and dropped 12.1lbs since then. Pretty happy with that!

Don't bother. Returned them a few weeks ago. The app asks for a stupid amount of unnecessary permissions. Tried to get around it by using my tablet but app only available on phone.

Why do my scales need access to make and receive calls? Are they gonna tell me wife I'm the one eating all the biscuits? (edited)

If there's one place I can go to have a laugh.. it's definitely HUKD

p.s did you eat them tho? (edited)

If you are looking accurate body comp I don't recommend this item. The data it can provide only goes up to your waist then it average from waist upwards based of thousands of other peoples data and provides an average. As we individually hold fat etc in different parts of our bodies this data will be inaccurate for most users.

There are no scales that would give accurate body comp, technology is simply not there yet. You can look at trends but keep in mind these are all rough estimates.

Only on HotUKDeals would I buy a new scale and 20 short life Cadburys creme eggs in the same 5 minutes 🤪

Have got some fifty year old Salter bathroom scales heavy duty British made which measure in stones and pounds and always work perfectly. Don't need any new fangled metric rubbish despite the additional but rarely needed bells and whistles

I am glad someone else had a good experience of these but I found them to be inconsistant (as in standing on them twice in a row and getting different weights!).

Anyone tried the P2 Pro ?
    TheBigLwinski's avatar
I’ve had a P2 Pro for quite a while, it’s a nice scale but I’d take all the measurements with a pinch of salt. The Apple health integration is nice to track weight and for it to automatically log against multiple household members without needing to open any apps etc. I did get mine as part of a promotion for free, not sure I’d spend the £50 on it that it was up for when I last looked.

Pretty good apart from visceral fat reading which I hope is way out, on my old Renpho scales it’s 6 on these it’s 12

Had one for a while, was really happy with it until recently it stopped giving any measurements except for the weight and bmi, so whole point of smart scale is gone.
