    Well that's not really accurate is it?

    For starters depends on if you open the box or not as to what it's resale value is. Quite a few Amiibo's now can be used now without even open the packaging, as the base has been deliberately left clear without obstruction on some of the more collectible ones.

    Try getting Sonic, Mega Man (regular), Fox for under a tenner. Some still aren't widely released either.

    Then there is the 2 gold and 1 silver amiibo, if you get an English language packaged one that's already worth a few quid and will be a good investment.

    Regarding the content also, I would be the first to concede some Amiibo's just do very little and not nearly enough in games. But if your getting one for £5 or £6 that's still not a bad price.

    The point is that they're not worth £30-40 or more like they used to. £10-15.. that's just the standard price.
