    Seriously people who argue over video games consoles are absolutely pathetic. I own each console, and I play the best games on each of them, I have no blind allegiance to either company. People that argue over consoles and compare d**k sizes need to grow up!

    This is due to the limited ram on the ps3 and the reason we cannot get cross game chat but its been said that the ps4 will fix this by allowing 1gb of ram for the OS. I cannot wait for the ps4 it should be awesome

    NowTV was awful. A real letdown compared to the likes of Netflix and even LoveFilm.

    It has a decent selection, but the quality just isn't there. I'm sure it will get better, but as of today...it's not worth it.

    But, I got 90 days of PS+ out of it, so I leave with good feelings.

    Wrong. Xbox Live is so much better than PS+ as an online service, but admittedly PS+ hands down wins for the return of your £40 per year. The lack of cross-title party/private chat is just too big a factor for me personally.

    For those that don't like the PS Store if you have access to a PC (I use my iphone) go to the web based version. Everything's pretty instant and you can add whatever you want to your download queue for when turn the PS3 on or when PS+ checks for updates it will also download your download queue.
    Haven't used the console app for a while since doing it this way.

Is this alright?



    No option either, will pass on this one, too much potential aggro.

    Yes it carries over but if they redeemed the code now then the 3 months would be over before they got their PS4!

I may as well wait until there'll be some football on, as that's why I'd mainly want the service anyway. Looks good though, it definitely could be something I'd use long term provided the streams are decent enough quality.



    it doesnt come with sky sports. you have to pay something like £10 just for a 24hours day pass for sports

    Just spoke to Live Chat because I too was confused about typing in the offer code. He said my account had the offer applied to must have been in the link.

    He also said the PS+ code will be sent out within 30 days AFTER the 30 day NowTV trial.

    Hmm so they sent you a email after?

    I specifically asked them to confirm that the plus had been added. I haven’t received confirmation as to whether they'll be sending it out.

    I just got the code too and getting service unavailable.

    Absolutely crap service...no 5.1 audio available and poor communication and server problems with this code....who on earth is going to be persuaded to carry on after the free trial?!

    Mine arrived today too!

    I have to say though, the service was absolutely awful. Filled with bugs, and would constantly cause my PS3 to crash 3 quarters of the way through a film, without fail. I hope it improves, but at the moment, it's too expensive and very poor.

    Glad about the free gift though!

    The code is automatically applied. It says 30-DAY SKY MOVIES PASS. You can remove it if you want and re-apply the code just to be 100% sure

    The code is already put in at the payment screen. If you remove the current code, you can enter the PS3OFFER and you get the exact same deal again.

    Now TV offered me a £20 voucher if I switched my auto-renew back on. I did that and never heard from them again.

    I emailed them and they said I wasn't entitled to the voucher. No explanation was given.

    30 day trial and they only send you the ps+ code after 30 days so if you cancel subscription before 30days to avoid paying you wont be sent a code i bet sounds abit iffy to me
