sorted byIn my opinion the Hydro 3 blades work perfectly well enough, fit this razor and are cheaper, I usually get 8 for around Ā£9 at Amazon. I'm not convinced the extra two blades make much difference. So when the supplied blade needs a replacement don't automatically go for Hydro 5 replacement blades as you can get either Hydro 3 or Hyrdo 5 replacements. (edited)

Picked up coupon for partner and I. Haven't bought razors in a couple years due to these deals. But they seem to be getting less and less.
It's a symptom of short-termism across lots of industries. CFOs only seem to stay a couple of years in each company. When they start they usually make financial cuts that impact quality and customer service to make themselves look good. At first customers don't notice but soon sales start to drop - that's the point where the CFO leaves. Then the new CFO has to work to rebuild the brand reputation and the whole cycle starts again. It's all designed to benefit the directors of the company, not the shareholders or customers.
I recently bought Wilkinson Sword tree loppers and garden shears and the quality of them is way better than any I've had before. They cost slightly more, but definitely worth it. (edited)

Need to ask, if anyone has tried both Gillette and Wilkinson, which blades do you have a preference on (if any)?
Hoping to switch as I imagine Wilkinson is cheaper than Gillette.
