How does the 'slot' thing work for collection. Do I have to turn up between the two times? What if I have a heart attack on the way and need to go to hospital? Or is it just turn up after the slot? If I can just collect after the time the whole book a slot thing seems arbitrary to me.

The idea of a 'slot' is to help a consumer to be in their house.. The idea of Click and Collect is to help the consumer turn up at any time.

As I say, can you help me grasp the concept?

I really am serious about being confused, please help.

for those of you with a gmail address and already registered with sainsburys, you may not be aware but gmail does not recognise dots in your name, but the website does.. for example if you own the email "peterpan@gmail.com" you can register with peter.pan@gmail.com to create a new sainsburys account from the same email address.

Good deal btw, Just done it now so thanks, Gone for worms the freebies and fifa for around £37

To be fair it's not too clear but here's what you wanna do:

    1. Click on this link - scroll down to the 'freebies' section and add each available item to your basket
    2. Either click 'n' collect OR get it delivered by choosing a delivery time
    3. Add Fifa 17
    4. Add all the codes for the freebies that you added earlier

Just make sure the pre-discount price all adds up to over £60. If not, add a few things of your own choosing.

    Done!

Sainsburys doesn't live stock check so it'll be an issue as their stock levels on games tends to be poor, particularly after the night shift have taken their copy for the end of the shift.

Sorry guys but there is a very good chance you (or the delivery driver) will turn up for it to be out of stock...

Needed 2 copies of this so applied discount code & got both for £62. Also works with click & collect. Heat added.

I didn't add Fifa! I think its just a way of getting it cheaper. I ended up getting a PS4 controller and game to go with the PS4 bundle I got from Game. I think the deal is £18 off £60 spend plus a few freebies (which were giving a bigger discount than they cost for some - but I think thats ended)

did all the above but i am getting ''We're sorry, but you haven't reached the minimum quantity for the product in order to use voucher AFFVDXTTSM, please continue shopping and then proceed to checkout.''

So although it gives me all the freebies the price of the game still sits at £40

Did you have a minimum of £60 in your basket? - as its a £18 off first £60 spend...also it only works for first time buyers

can you detail how to get this for £34.99?

I see new customers get £18 off £60? is this what you are referring to?

    fifa 17 is £40
    prison architect is £12.99
that comes to £53, do I then need to make up the rest (£7) with other goods and if so, why do I need to buy prison architect and not any other shopping to take the total to £60?

Yes, you can just buy other shopping, as long as the total comes to over £60. Although as the freebies are £7, you only need to add £13 worth of shopping, as the £18 off £60 code still works, after all the other freebie discounts have been deducted! Hope this makes sense

It pretty much works on anything that combined comes to £52-53 doesn't have to be FIFA, I ordered PES 2017. You just need the games + free groceries to come as close to £60 as you can get them, then you get the groceries knocked off the price and then the £18 taken off what's left.
