Not the most exciting selection. Alright if you 'must have' new releases straight away I guess.
  2. Sukky's avatar
Are the discounts available on those sets instore as well? Or just online?
    Brainslugged's avatar
In store as well. I spoke to a store earlier today.
  3. Jamie_Pay's avatar
Are these available in store seeing as it’s a code?
    Brainslugged's avatar
I just spoke to my local store and it is a straight discount on the same sets as online. So much more straight forward. Online is just a PITA. (edited)

Is the insider membership separate to the Lego website account? Not ordered from Lego directly before so would be signing up to order and just want to check as can't see for certain, thanks!
    TenTon's avatar
I'm sure having a lego website account is the same if you can access the insider section then you have your answer I guess
  5. Brainslugged's avatar
Does anyone know if online only gives you the GWPs once? I was maybe going to place two orders, but if I'm only going to get all the GWPs with one order, I might as well order the AT-AT tonight and gey the benefit of the 10% TCB.
    JimBrix's avatar
From my experience you should get them with each separate order. I’ve done this a few times now.

I initially thought that our offers were better than the us but now looking at it they are considerably worse. Making us use a voucher code is a tight move by Lego and limiting it to one when the us can stack what they want. I can't really understand it as it surely loses them money.
There's also no mention of double vip points, if that doesn't't happen this year it will be a huge disappointment.
  7. agentwalker's avatar
When you order this do the divorce papers come free?
    ShadowMKI's avatar
I’ll answer that when the at-at arrives
  8. andras.eisenmann's avatar
Personally, I don't like this rewards off. I much prefer the Insider points when I can get the extra x points and I can use other rewards code. I already exchanged one (2700 points) and will expire very shortly. I wanted to use this one for my Star Wars order, but I also want the discount.
    It's a trap. (edited)
    TarkaDaal's avatar
Does this mean that you can't use VIP vouchers in conjunction with the discount code?
  9. Brainslugged's avatar
I hadn't realised it was going to be codes to get the discounts. I was going to get The Ghost together with the Coruscant Gunship in order to get the freebies. But now they need to be placed in separate orders. Plus I have a code for the micro Ninjago Docks I was planning on using. Really bloody annoying that you can only use one code per transaction.
  10. Andrew_F's avatar
Great price for the Ghost, though a bit annoying it puts the promo freebie available from tomorrow just out of reach. Still, perfect excuse to throw another set in to get over the threshold...
  11. Becca8888's avatar
Anyone had their cashback tracked yet?
  12. foregoneconclusion's avatar
Wondering if it’s worth buying one as an investment as retired this year?
    dunnyem's avatar
    Yes most definitely
  13. xbow987's avatar
Has anybody claimed the AT-AT discount code and have no intention of using it?
    Harrgo5's avatar
    Me
  14. Solac's avatar
The X-Wing and unlocks all gifts is really tempting
    Man_UK's avatar
I am tempted with the X-wing but then it's not retiring for a while yet, the Mos Eisley one is retiring and with the GWPs and points might be worth getting that now. The AT-AT is too much for me for one item. Already got 40% off the new smaller sets from Toys R Us last week so not going to get those from Lego, maybe some of the brickheads as they are exclusive.
  15. ShadowMKI's avatar
Just noticed this myself as I thought I’d check as I’d seen the US was starting on the 30th.

I dunno why but I’ve got this feeling they’re not going to do what they did last year and give double vip across all sets.

The ‘leaked’ list of double vip for America has some ‘excluded’ sets and their 4x vip point / sale sets which also start now are just the sets we’re getting discounted. Which gives me a vibe that these sets plus a few others might be excluded from double vip. (edited)

The UK and EU stores tend to favour the discounts up front, while the US tends to favour giving discounts in the form of Insider points. In theory, we get the better deal as we get the amount off, plus one round of insider points. Technically 3x.

Careful with the coupons though as this will affect cashback.
  16. TylerDurden's avatar
Are these available to buy now for members? Just wondering, if you can redeem them now and claim topcashbacks 12% and get the insider points all at the same time? Thanks
    Brickhead's avatar
Wait until midnight to get the GWP also
  17. gemvis's avatar
    No tantive on offer?
  18. BricklineUK's avatar
Ordered the AT-AT today, I know the GWP don’t start till tomorrow, but with the discount from the code, the insider points and 10.2% cash back I work it out to be over £200 off.
    TylerDurden's avatar
Question is, will there be 2x points on it tomorrow and gwps and a lower cashback percentage to make it a better deal or not?
  19. Little_Dash's avatar
    thanks!
  20. mike_the_tv's avatar
Do you think using the promo codes from LEGO will invalidate any TCB as it states "Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback."?
    ShadowMKI's avatar
So far my order tracked yesterday with a voucher code used, but that’s not to say it might not get declined as I have had them decline things multiple times before.

My QuidCo has also tracked too at 5%. But yet again could be declined for using a insider coupon. (edited)

Stuck in Lego waiting screen, anyone else?
    TarkaDaal's avatar
Still waiting. How long did it take you to get through?
  22. iNSain's avatar
I'm not very familiar with Lego insider points. Does anyone know best way to use 4000± points. Can we get money off some sets and when would be the best time to use the points? Also do they have an expiry date?
    ShadowMKI's avatar

Pretty sure if you don’t buy any Lego sets for 18 months any accumulated points will disappear. And if you create a voucher it only lasts 60 days. (edited)
  23. Jackk_18's avatar
Got through eventually and managed to purchase. Wasn't able to go through Quidco/TCB as it kept putting me back in the queue...
    Man_UK's avatar
I was able to get in with TCB but not sure if it will track.

You can’t even add non Star Wars stuff to meet the GWP thresholds. Absolutely rubbish unless there are massive sets you wanted. I am out. Let me know if anyone wants codes for the ATAT, gunship, ghost or Cantina.

Sadly always the T&Cs for May 4th offers, only works on Star Wars merchandise. This does include Star Wars themed sets from other themes though such as Star Wars Brickheadz or gear such as keychains, pens etc.
  25. gemvis's avatar
Tho still can't get on im tempted by the cantina set im a member etc hows best way to get it? Little confused what i can/cant use (edited)
    ShadowMKI's avatar
Cantina is probably cheapest at John Lewis right now. Unless you want those GWP’s
  26. blue-note's avatar
AT-AT out of stock...you can't even place an order on one...and OOS at Disney store too. Yikes.
    ShadowMKI's avatar
It was allowing back orders for a little bit about an hour and half ago. I’m glad I ordered it yesterday now, even though I would have managed to get it this morning if I had of waited, it wasn’t worth the risk. Surprised it was still even available this morning tbh. (edited)

Anyone getting checkout issues on the Lego site?
    ShadowMKI's avatar
The website will likely be ropey for a good 24 hours as people try and get in on the deals. It’s much better than it was at midnight

"Down £144 from its £734.99 RRP to 'JUST' £589.99" for a mass produced plastic toy?
    dunnyem's avatar
Yup and after it’s retired this year this mass produced toy will sell for £1000 luvly jubbly
  30. Hyperhoundoom's avatar
Has anybody plsced two orders and received 2 sets of gwps? How much is the one per household enforced?
    ShadowMKI's avatar
I think a few have managed to secure multiple. I think someone said 3 was max online.
