Lego Star Wars Deals & Offers

I bought one using this deal and totally agree that the full asking price is ludicrous. That said; licencing fees for Star Wars, coupled with a couple of exclusive figures and 1000 pieces, I can see why people can justify it
Yeah I know the crack. Even with the Disney/star wars tax and the Lego price increase, this just seems a mad mount of money for a set that has about £20 worth of Lego + a £60 black surround (lol)
No deal here. Selected ebay targeting accounts
Because: a) it’s lego b) it’s Disney c) it’s Star Wars d) people will pay it Lego is great, however the pricing on some sets is bonkers, until people refuse to spend the asking price then they’ll still have these high prices. I also imagine majority don’t actually buy from Lego but wait for deals like this to get a more reasonable price
I cannot see any reason the Diorama sets are the price that they are. It’s just bonkers 🤦♂️

We have this, it is a nice set with a good few Clones Troopers.
Dunno. Sounds more like a killjoy right now (lol)
Was that the sound of an unfunny comment passing by? (confused)
Whoosh
The clue is in the name

It's quite funny now how people in crypto just buy out all the lego sets on offer in a bear market
Price has gone back up now, well done to those who managed to bag one at the reduced price, that was a great deal (y)
Not really I flipped the 2 gwps for £35, I bought the bride for £7 and flipped with free groom for £20, got £10 cashback and about £9 VIP, so got equivalent of £74 back on a £170 spend, I didn't buy hotel but maths would work the same, still trying to decide whether to pick up hotel and flip gwps again but already done it twice, although 1st order I kept gwps except groom. Will be other double gwps this year as well which might want so thinking of holding out as not going anywhere.
John Lewis is better, that offer was the best yet
I have lived in Korea for the last 17yrs so don't have much of a presence in the UK nowadays. Left when I was 23 but still add to my Lego collection as and when I can via this site. Normally they're delivered to my parents and I take them back when I visit every 1-2yrs. Always looking for bargains and this site has certainly opened my wallet the past few months!

Thanks OP, got this and the Hoth stormtrooper set too!
Ouch,,, I burnt my hand on this hot deal... I mean hot steal!
If you have the 10 Euro off 25 Europlua order this will around £25 which is what I got it for last time via a similar offer..
Great set at that price (y)

Oos now, deal expired
Thanks. Ordered.

Thanks for sharing @ashdownm (highfive)
Nice thank you just ordered
Thanks OP. Picked up a couple.

The majority of sets appreciate once retired. However, I don't think this one will go up too much as the main build is under-whelming. There will probably be a decent market for it if the minifigures remain unique to this set but, I think that is unlikely. There is a new season of the cartoon in the pipeline so I think the figures will be recycled at some point.
This one likely to appreciate once retired?
Not a huge fan of the windscreen, but I liked this a lot more than I expected upon building it. I also had to change the dorsal fin to get rid of the anti-studs on one side. Now it's studs-out on both sides.
Got to remember the are 5 Named minifigures in the set
6p per piece is decent value now could go a bit lower

I had a racing truck technics that was a 2 in 1 that was good as a muscle car too, but more recent 2 (or 3) in 1s we've had have been a bit disappointing (creator motorbike and some kids sets). I've felt like some of the additional designs have been a bit rubbish and even that some of the main designs are compromised by splitting pieces into 2 to allow them to be used as something else in the alternate build (e.g. using 2x 2x1s instead of 1x 1x4 etc.). We'll still build the alt designs, but I think the time would be better spent being creative and doing a custom build. I agree when they're done well they're good, but the ones I've tried have been poor. Admit that's not many, but just my thoughts.
do these have built in motors these days?
shame its not a 2 in 1 technics - Lego are making a move to reduce the 2 in 1 = bad move Mr Lego (greddy rat)
Great deal. I believe the 42140 is the cheapest it's been. Previous cheapest was 85 ish on the Amazon Germany deal (when I bought it and haven't built it yet 🤦🏻♂️)
I've edited the title to match the image but in the description it has all the links, in no particular price order just the Technic sets then Star Wars sets.

£29 with the promotion :) 3 in stock
Jeep Wrangler £34 in Asda Jeep Wrangler
That app controlled one was £90 last week. Great deal.
good find- thank you OP
Tempted by Harry Potter stuff I haven’t actually got any of that yet!

heat!!
It’s a decent set for around this price. Figures are good. Would like to see it nearer £50
Is this worth picking up?

I received mine on the 14th having ordered it on the 10th of May. Once you receive the email from Shopto regarding shipment, it will take 1-2 days for them to deliver it to you. You should technically receive yours tomorrow or day after hopefully
@koevgeny1994 Is yours out for delivery by now? I ordered on the 11th of May and I am still waiting for the PS5 to be shipped...
I wonder how many days it takes them to ship them. Still waiting for my delivery confirmation email for 3 days
How did shopto get so much stock? They have had it for 3 days now. Must have sold thousands.
heat!!

good find- thank you OP - great minifigs
Apologies you are right I have edited thanks for spotting this (y)
If the RRP is £79.99 then this isn't 22% off. Either the RRP is £89.99 or the discount is more like 12.5%.
Item is still available at £70
Omg awesome it’s getting lower (y)

good find- thank you OP - Argos better for ecomony but they need to up game on how to look after these sets. good spot amazon syndrome - erm , parcel for me, what did i order?....oh yes forgot that. amazing
Anyone else have a moment this morning, where they couldn't remember what LEGO they bought last night.
It's clearly Bib Fortuna's throne room.
Added the links and credited :) Good spot.
Bad Batch Shuttle is also £60, and Imperial Shuttle is £55

Make sure to share the peanuts with mum and nan from the 'profit'
cheers! ordered 3, my house, mums and nans, should make a tidy profit from either ebay or facebook
Sperate CPU and GPU cores so easier to cool than one APU package generating the heat. If you can shrink the monolithic heatsink down and keep sustained performance (which laptops don't do they scale depending on temp) for the same cost per unit then perhaps you should get a job at Sony :) No slim (lol)
They sure did. Original ps4 and ps3 generated lots of heat. Tech improves. Look at the laptop rtx 3080. It's twice the power of the ps5. 5x the cost and 3x smaller already. As tech improves, efficiency improves, prices come down, they'll be a slim ps5.
They didn't generate and need to shift as much heat as current gen and with a totally different architecture. These are just SFF PCs and will have the same thermal needs.

Wow This is so beautiful how can people possibly vote this cold. A perfect representation of a the flasher gremlin from the classic 80's movie
It’s currently £49.99 on Zavvi

good find- thank you OP - added to my display - looks great
Cheers just ordered to add to my Vader, Storm Trooper and Scout Trooper
Got the bottom 2 off Amazon Germany for around £38 each recently. They all look good. Only one I need now is the new Dark Stormtrooper.
Price in the original post is with delivery and guaranteed exchange rate. If you buy a few items then the postage is lower per item and it is combined. If you get over a certain amount then extra import fees are added so watch out for those. Around £150 or so.
Is there hidden charges etc by buying through their German site anyone can tell me please?

good find- thank you OP books then not to be as they are lots of 2nd hand ones - Lego as investment only works when you buy low and sell high- and to buy low - you buy direct . over bitcoin - Lego all the way for me as its useful. good answer
Get something that's valuable to you
I wouldn't recommend 'investing' in it. However, the figure alone sells for around £10 on BrickLink. I'd expect the price to rise over time, but don't expect a house deposit with it anytime soon ;)
It's Lego mate not bitcoin
Is this a good investment?

exactly it was cheapest when posted and still is. But thats how HUKD works.
I don't get why this is voted cold when it's the cheapest around 🤷🏻♀️

Adult? In body, maybe (lol)
Probe
Good set, but beware as this is super fragile once made.
I’ve added some heat. Cheapest I’ve seen it was Amazon Black Friday at £37.39 but a good price seems to be between £40 and £43. I think sometimes the fact it’s Zavvi doesn’t help the heat
Does this often go for much cheaper, I thought it looked a good deal?
the bottom of label tells you the sending warehouse my past three Amazon DE orders have been spain and france, your paying duty/amazon are in checkout process.
Agreed, no way post brexit that I can get a price of Lego from Germany to my house is less than 48 hours. I’ve never seen any customs declarations or the like on their parcels, so I assume it is fulfilled by Amazon Uk
Got this and the £25 JP set for £51 see with the 10euro off code last week arrived today so £80 for £51 came from France Amazon facility LL1
I will say it again........ Ive used DE for years,i order at night and sometimes its at my doorstep by 2 the following day(i live near the Leeds warehouse) They often come from a uk warehouse,i mean, how does it get orderd, travel to the border, get through customs, get on a flight, get through customs again and then be deliverd within 12 hours?I think not,lol Ive had many discussions with Amazon reps about this, one item turned up in 6 hours,i kid you not,so i asked why was i paying postage as a prime member and it came from a UK warehouse in a plain Amazon box with no import stickers on it.They didnt like that question and funnily enough never really answerd the question.. There are two types of Lego sets, euro and americas, all in english, all identical, the only difference is one has different info on the outside on box.Sometimes you will see someone showing a set off online and panicking as it has a sticker on the outside of box,its to do with something like they have to have certain things to be sold over there and the piece count and its not on euro boxes, saw it a lot at begining of covid when the mexico plant got closed.
Not necessarily from a DE site, just an Amazon site. I've ordered various things from Amazon UK that have started their journey in Austria or Germany etc, just the best path logistics for stock and time, sure Amazon DE tap into the network in the same way.
