sorted byAll I want it to watch films and do a bit of browsing. Camera unimportant. Battery life not vital as I can have it plugged in a lot of the time.
Is there any reason I shouldn't go for this? Seems exactly what I want. A good upgrade, well-reviewed screen, the compromises are all things I don't care about.

Been looking at getting a tablet for doing basic office tasks like emails, word documents, spreadsheets etc and potentially remoting into a desktop. Have been leaning towards getting a used Surface Go 2 but this looks like a really good deal.

"The MatePad Pro 13.2 will be available in Europe from 22nd January 2024 (with pre-orders opening on the 8th January). It comes in two flavours, the base model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and will retail for €999, while the 512GB variant will cost you €1199. There’s currently no word on UK-specific pricing.
The Smart Magnetic Keyboard and 3rd Gen M-Pencil are sold as optional accessories and will set you back an additional €199 and €99, respectively."

Would you go online with a Windows machine that didn't get updates and run some form of antivirus?
Been told ipads are the way to go for IPTV, but I presume they're greatly overpriced. I think the app is £25 a year for a start
