I got the bear version from Play a few years ago for the Mrs. At first it smells like Lavender, then after a while it starts to smell like pie crust when it comes out of the microwave.

Same here, if i over heat it in micro it smells terrible. The idea is dnt over cook it! LOL
Mine was the seal one with lavender. Kids use it when they got a bad belly.

My daughter has a rabbit version of these and for the same reasons stated above its called "smelly rabbit".

Oh you can get things like this from Au Natural or whatever took over it. BM Homewares or Opus Homewares or something. They have different animals, Monkeys, Teddies etc. They are only £3.99.

I bought the baby seal version a while back, and it feels a bit sadistic microwaving the thing as it stares back at you...
As to how long the heat lasts, it doesn't last anywhere near as long as a traditional hot water bottle, perhaps not even half as long. However, the seal is more comfortable to use as a heat pack.
