Bought 2 a few weeks back for the kids bedrooms. Using them as 2 chairs until friends stay when they convert into a sofa bed. Have the coral and blue versions. These are excellent build quality and very comfy IMO. Great material. Solid enough cushions to retain their shape without being too hard. If u get that compromise. Recline as chairs into 2 positions for a chill. Any questions please ask. Great value for money. Even as 2 single reclining chairs never mind the sofa bed option.
Is it widely known that all the cheap Argos Basics and Sainsbury's Home stuff is rebranded as "Habitat" now? The Habitat brand literally means nothing, but it feels like Sainsbury's are still trying to mislead people into believing that it's high-end.
If you buy it your room will just look like its missing all that :)
Wish my dentist chairs were more like this, mine have ancient plastic school chair type (lol)
Imagine taking the whole sofa to the dry cleaners!

Thanks OP! Just managed to get a chocolate one ordered for delivery to my postcode. (y)
Seems to be £100 now, but good luck finding one that can be delivered to your postcode.
Nevermind, if your name is Boris, you can spend 100 times more, and get someone else to pay for it, provided no one finds out.
The Argos site says The small print *Prices correct as displayed but are subject to change. We have recently dropped this price, from £15 I think I would rather have bought it before they "dropped" the price! They mean by £15, of course. One 1 star comment was very useful: Honestly I feel very few people who've bought this sofa have tried sleeping on it. It's too hard to sleep on but with a couple duvets down as a mattress topper it's ok. The biggest flaw is what feel like a metal bar running down the bed, which is the fold from becoming a sofa to a bed. It's not quite in the centre so it splits the bed in to a small single and a teeny tiny single. you basically have to pick a side to sleep on and the smaller side is only large enough to lie on your side. Any road up, I might be tempted but with a bad back and spending hours sat down because of it, I have had a cheap sofa like this and the wooden carcass could be felt with the thin inadequate padding. Hence I most likely would get pressure sores (again). But this might be useful to some, especially if they use toppers even when used as a sofa, so I have voted hot. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post this.
All these people moaning about the quality whilst no doubt sat on their DFS sofa at home... equally as cheap but extortionately priced!!
is Habitat not decent? I used to browse the shop in Edinburgh years ago and it always seemed decent and sometimes twirky designed cool stuff. Mind you, it was probably owned by Terence Conran then! edit - just looked, Habitat and Argos are under the umbrella "Home Retail Group" and owned by Sainsburys. Argos furniture used to be cheap and awful. Not sure if the Habitat stuff is equally cr@p though.
I do so hope Lulu was better informed than moi.
Actuuuaaalllly, it’s No 11. During Cameron’s term he decided to switch the flats as No11 was bigger than No10, and this formality has now followed under Bojo the clowns term..... (nerd) 8) Just call me Kaaaaaron! (y)

Why should anyone have to sleep in discomfort? Sleeping well is a major part of maintaining a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle, sadly, for many people, night-time is a time characterised by restlessness and insomnia, not by rest and sweet dreams. Often enough, the solution is simple: they just don't have a bed that lets their bodies relax. Fortunately, the solution is close at hand. Anyone can sleep in style with a luxury bed purchase, knowing they found the best deals available, and only from the hotukdeals listings.

Things to Consider When Buying a Bed
It's important to know exactly what to look for when you are browsing for bed deals. As with all furniture, there's a wide range of quality levels, and nobody wants to be burdened with a bed that's uncomfortable or too small for their needs. So be sure to, double-check the features below before exploring any bed offers elsewhere.
The Benefits Of All-In-One Beds
Buyers can purchase beds in all-in-one format (with both the frame and mattress) or purchase the two major elements separately. In this guide, we'll generally be dealing with frames on their own, although buyers should keep in mind that many merchants like to bundle up bed and mattress sales. This can be both cost-effective and convenient, but be sure to check the prices of buying frames and mattresses separately. Sometimes this can be a cheaper option, although not as convenient. All of this is dependent on the deals on offer and which mattress is best for you, the consumer.
Bed Frames And Their Benefits: Which Material is Best?
Most of the time, buyers will have a choice of wooden or metal frames. Wood tends to be a little more solid and is easier to shift around if needed. They also suffer less frequently from squeaking, which can be a real nuisance. And many people prefer the natural look of an oak bed, over an iron equivalent. However, metal has its strong points. Good metal beds will last longer and can also come in aesthetically interesting industrial or modern styles. This often makes them a good fit for contemporary interiors. Generally speaking though, wood is the material to choose when it comes to the value provided from cheap bed frames.
Size Matters: The Best Bed For Your Needs
Bed size differs greatly and price follows this trend almost directly. It's important to understand that although having a larger mattress is always preferred, they bigger they are the higher the cost making it important to understand what size to choose. Measure your bedroom to get a feel for the maximum size it can stand. Don't fill the entire space, as you'll need room to get around. But, as a rule, go for the largest bed you can accommodate and afford. Because ultimately, the more space you have to work with, the more relaxing your evenings will be.
What About Extra Security For Those Who Need It?
In some cases, sleepers will need extra design features to keep them secure at night. This is especially important for children who could be prone to slip out of the cribs but can also be important for sleepwalkers or epileptics – anyone who might be at risk of falling out of bed. If this applies to you, raised rims can help, and beds with a lower profile are a sensible option.
Extra Features For Those Who Want More
Many more sophisticated beds also come with extra features to make them more adaptable. For instance, they could include mechanisms to raise the mattress and provide extra back support or elevation for the user's limbs. These features may well have medical advantages (but check with your doctor before choosing a mechanical bed, as poorly decisions can sometimes be counterproductive). However, they will be more expensive, so be clear about whether the extra features represent good value to you as the customer.
How to Make a Bed
Making your bed may seem an easy task, but it never helps to have a reminder. Here are some short and simple instructions to help get your bed dressed properly so you can settle in for a good nights rest.
Gather a fitted sheet, a bedsheet, your pillows (1 cover per pillow), and your duvet (with cover).
Take the fitted sheet (understanding the shorter sides cover the top and bottom) and gently pull each corner over the mattress until they hook into place and completely cover the bed.
Take the bedsheet and place it evenly over the top of the mattress making sure everything is still symmetrical. Be sure to save a little length at the bottom to tuck it slightly under the bottom end of the mattress.
Cover your pillows with pillowcases and lay them neatly at the head of the bed.
Place your duvet evenly over the rest of the bed making sure, once again, to maintain symmetry.
Essential Accessories to Help Ensure a Good Night's Sleep
While a decent bed and mattress are essential to getting a good night's sleep, there are a few additional accessories that you'll need in order to be sure you'll get some decent shut-eye:

I can see they still sell quality furniture but most of it is the cheap Argos tat that has been made for years - now under the disguise of the Habitat name. Loved going to their Tottenham Court Road store.
You'd be better sleeping on the floor
I stand corrected. However, I still think this is a good piece. It’s difficult to know with middle of the range furniture though, and unless you go really cheap you’ll probably not know the difference. (y)
Sainsburys have started to rebrand the majority of Argos home products (apart from value products) as habitat products - even says it on Argos and habitat websites. Started in November last year I think. https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2020/11/habitat-to-shutter-flagship-and-relaunch-in-sainsburys-and-argos/ Habitat is a very pale shade of what it used to be like. Habitat and Argos designers are the same team now working at Argos HQ Milton Keynes. Also habitat uk is completely separate to habitat (rest of world - french company)
I disagree. Argos has its own brand Home and Habitat still has decent designers and quality products. Just no showrooms.
makeupgirly: I don’t think it’s very good for their backs I think otherwise. Sleeping on the floor is actually pretty good for the back and posture and is something many people have now started to adapt around the world. Similar to how doctors say don't use cotton buds to clean ears.
I don’t think it’s very good for their backs
Sleeping on the floor is the best. Rather have that space for them to run around etc
We had the same issue, after a couple weeks we put our little ones mattress on the floor for him to sleep on then after another few weeks of that we tried every night to sleep on the mattress in the bed. Took a couple weeks of trying but eventually got there.
Toddler beds are lower to the ground, I will use a bed guard to ensure he doesn't fall out. I just think it's best to limit the amount of changes. The nests are in different sizes depending on the age, they range from birth to 3 yrs and are safe if use correctly. All of what I have said isn't advice, it's just my experience, every family is different and will find the best way for themselves.
No baby could roll and fall so you need a cot or cotbed! This is a toddler bed.
Is it good for new born baby too
I'd pay the extra for the gray <3
Cheaper at George - Asda mate. 15% off nursery furniture promo ongoing as well comes down to around £67 with delivery.
I recently bought this bundle for £69 (price now up to £79 BUT there is a promo on the page for 15% off so £67.15). It's still in the box so I can't comment on quality but it has good reviews and was the best price I could find: https://direct.asda.com/george/home/kids-nursery/toddler-bed-and-mattress-bundle/050243763,default,pd.html?cgid=D26M22G01C02
"Perfect for a movie night turned sleepover" - chance would be a fine thing!
I too have reservations about the arms. Hence I looked up the Q&A section and saw someone had asked this question. As usual Argos were as useful as a chocolate teapot in answering in any reliable way. This is what the 2 answers were: The written description of the sofa says you CAN remove the arms - please can Argos confirm once and for all and perhaps update the written description of its wrong!? Answered by Vickstar Age: 35 to 44 Location: Oxfordshire Gender: Female 20 May 2018 ############### Contradicted by: Hi, The HOME Marseille 2 Seater Fabric Sofa Bed does not have removable arms. Thank you for using Argos Q&A. Answered by Becky@Argos Gender: Female STAFF (Argos staff has to be assumed here). 10 May 2017 ########### One 1 star mentioned that their sofa arms fell off due to the NAILS coming out: Arm fell off after 2 weeks Rating 1 out of 5 Looks nice, really large. But really poorly made. The arrest fell off (all the nails just fell out) after a few weeks. It had barely been used so extremely disappointing. (arrest meant to be armrest, my comment, not in the review). PinkLlama, 25 - 34, Cornwall ######## 3 out of 5 of the 3 star comments say that it does not sit flush with the wall, as do several of the 4 star reviews. One of the comments reproduced here: However, you cant actually push this flush to the wall! There's a massive support section that you dont really notice in the photos, which sticks out the back! The sofa ends up about a foot from the wall! As with all cheapish Argos items, the quality isnt great, but for the price Im happy! ########### Other things to consider are: From FOUR star reviews: It used to be a bit hard to sleep but mattress topper memory foam does the trick. The grey is more like airforce blue... As a bed - it's very narrow and bit in the middle does not allow you to sleep comfortably. If your guest will stay over a weekend that's the longest they should sleep in it! (The bit in the middle being the join between backrest and bottom part of the sofa). ...but not very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. It’s also not particularly comfortable for two people to sleep on... It is rather low so not good for anyone with mobility issues Just info to consider. I might think about buying this, if I did and the arms fell off like one reviewer said, then I would leave them off. If not, I might sledgehammer them off anyway as they do not really perform any useful function, and stop a 6 foot person (tall, not number of feet at the end of their legs) from hanging over the end easily, which they will need to do as this is only 6 foot 5 inches long max on the outside, but only 5 ft 10 between the arm rests.
thank you. Im 4 foot 10 so this is perfect.
I'd pay £50 for it lol.
I guess you don’t have a diesel or petrol car then. If so start walking.
Yes once ages ago I had a sofa bed from IKEA it was one of the cheapest one there at the time. I slept on it daily for a few years. Was so comfy and even others who slept with me agreed
Thanks, someone liked it, there were 10 available earlier
I thought this looked like a good deal, Then I thought if you bought a otterman, you could buy a electric pump and a air bed and stick it in the otterman?? and you could fit your blankets and pillows in to. I'm not sure the price of ottermans, but this one looks quite well made.
It does look good as a large ottoman. Ottomans aren't cheap so it's reasonable even only used for this.
Can confirm. Received mine today. Has a manual port hiding in the cable hiding part
£29.99 one on Aldi is sold out, you’re right same measurements but given the price difference I’d assume this was the double size but with the wrong measurements in the product description. The £27.99 one is single (99 * 191 * 42) https://www.aldi.co.uk/intex-single-raised-airbed/p/803839441283800 The £39.99 is king size (152 * 203 * 42) https://www.aldi.co.uk/intex-air-bed-with-built-in-pump/p/803846441283600
The 29.99 says double air bed and gives the same measurements as the 39.99
The £29.99 is single sized. The £39.99 king size. The item details show the measurements.
Perfect timing as I was looking at them on Argos / Amazon earlier. This is a bargain!! Thanks OP!
