It's a new version of Windows. Surely everyone knows by now you don't bother with it until SP1 (as your daily driver anyway)? Let all the early adopters iron out all the bugs and install it once it's stable and (mostly) bug free. It's always been this way with new versions of Windows.
I can get the latest Win 10 builds via MSDN but I haven't even bothered installing one to a VM to have a look at yet .....
Yes that's pretty much what I did (W10 from MSDN installed via VHD). I did have some trouble at first getting it to install via VHD but that was probably me trying to do it when I hadn't slept for sometime! Lots of guides on the net, but you probably know better anyway.
I like W10. I didn't feel the same about W8. W10 just seems snappier and much more polished even compared to the earlier releases of it's self. Pretty much how I felt when W7 was up and running. I particularly like the annotation support and reading mode of the browser.
I just like to get an early feel for a new OS, especially Microsoft's ones, seeing as I'm the go to person when family/friends need support (usually the most basic stuff!).

I presume that Flubit has an eBuyer trade account and just adds on a small % profit to the trade price, but makes people wait a few hours, or a day, to be given an offer so that buyers feel good about getting a "personalised" bargain. They can then use the customer-provided demographics to raise/lower the offer price, and obviously they can perhaps also sell the data, or use it for promotions, marketing or other service/product developments in the future.

A few points: It wont get the free upgrade to Windows 10 with the current 32gb drive, I believe b/c it does not have the free space?
You can easily upgrade the RAM and you can also put in a new, traditional style HDD/SDD but I believe the cables are missing.
The Celeron is better then the "N" series Celeron a lot of the cheaper laptops have in them.

I've seen this mentioned in a review, surely if these small tablets are getting 10 this can as well?
?? Isnt the Win10 Wimboot install 2gb smaller than Windows 8.1 Wimboot install?
I bought this when they first came out while I was building my house. I still have it set up and it the little icon that says to download it is not there. GMX is running and I suspect it does not meet the requirements.
No idea, but I believe the Wimboot thing is for PC makers or people who know how. Your Joe average who buys this and wants to get the Windows 10 upgrade I suspect wont get it on the hardware supplied.
Though, I am neither HP nor Microsoft, both of which have forums that will probably give you some sort of conclusion better then I can!

It's not so much that these kind of devices can't support windows 10 - it's more about the upgrade process itself that I believe Microsoft are working on.
You can get a cheap M.2 2242 SSD 128GB for about 30 - there were loads on eBay from people who upgraded their tablets to something bigger / SED.
No, but it does have a mini-Pci slot to take a WiFi card like the Intel 7260 range. You'll also need to fit internal WiFi antenna as well.
No. Just get a dongle for about £10. Or use the ethernet cable.
Just to note though I did have to buy these additional parts to make it completely usable for our purposes:
- DisplayPort to HDMI
- Wireless Dongle
- Wireless Keyboard / Mouse
Total outlay (including cost of PC) - £135.
Think you may have an issue with yours. I set one up for a relative and a visit often, still very quick for browsing the web etc.
Go to the device manager and see if there is a programme using all the ram or CPU.
I've got one of these. Just run Windows Update and restarted and the Windows 10 icon has appeared. Now I'm registered for the upgrade.

You have to do updates. Including all optional updates
There's loads of them. Including 2 mandatory ones which enable windows 10 update.
Have a read on this.

You have outstanding windows updates. Reboot it.
They're nippy as hell, I'm using one as my media centre.

says its unlikely to get windows 10 soon
"The first criticism I have of the HP 260 G1 is that it will not get Windows 10 in the immediate future, and from what I understand, this is because of its low on-board storage capacity. So if you are considering the HP 260 G1 and want to get Windows 10 ASAP, that is unlikely to happen."
Which ones did you get?
Messy but best way use of 32Gb drive ,best to use 32 bit Win 10 with this size drive and 2Gb of ram.

You'd be surprised - no swap outs needed - just be mindful of what crap to not install.
The CPU is quicker than you may expect and supports many instruction sets that older CPUs don't.and can support 3 monitors (not in this PC but the CPU is capable). It looks very HD on my single monitor - a 40" TV. Thought I'd need a DP to HDMI cable but even over VGA/DSUB it looks great.
YouTube 1080P streams flawlessly on this little PC with low CPU and RAM usage (on ethernet cable, I don't need to add WiFi as I already use Powerline/Homeplug adaptors). I was surprised that Win 8 runs well in just 2GB RAM but I only use one browser window as I don't want to watch two videos at the same time.
This is a nice small solution that's fits great for a PC connected to a TV. If you want a gaming PC look elsewhere and pay a lot more.

Would you recommend windows for kodi or open elec?
