I've got this watch. It is built like a tank and looks great. Only does basic stuff with no third party app integration but if you want a nice solid watch which can show you notifications rather than getting your phone out of your pocket you won't be disappointed. Battery life still in excess of 10 days after 3 years use and it looks brand new despite being knocked many times (edited)

Agreed, rock solid, doesn't need constant babying, and just works

It's a glorified smart band, in the shape of a smart watch, but that's no bad thing

    Love mine

Had this for over 2 years. Does what it says on the tin, rock solid tank like build quality, and hysterically long battery life even after all this time.
    Cant praise enough.

Had two of these and they both got returned for the same reason, the plastic beside the strap cracked. Not sure if it was a manufacturer defect or just plain bad luck but bit annoyed as it was a great watch otherwise. Puts me off ever trying again with this.

The praise I am reading here just shows why all non Chinese companies were desperate to knock out Huawei from the market. Solid products giving consumers what they want at a non silly price. I miss the P30 Pro.

Will this work with a pixel phone ?
    solid's avatar
It works just perfectly fine with any android phone

    I'm using mine with a pixel 5

Can I use this purely as a digital watch and change the faces.

I`ve a sumsung but no matter how much I don`t want notifications, heart rate and all the other stuff, they still annoyingly pop-up. I`m after a watch that I can change the look, thats all.

if your happy with the faces provided on the Health app, then yes you can just disable notifications and readings in the settings so it is just a customisable-face watch

Please forgive my ignorance but can I load apps from the play store on this like you can with a Samsung watch?
    solid's avatar
Nope, you cannot -- but that's an appealing feature for me personally

Just purchased for the battery life for cycling and hiking etc. I have an Apple Watch SE gps+4g which is useless as the battery only lasts 3hrs tops when connected to my phone.

Decent price. I enjoyed mine before it vanished. Loved the look of it but it wouldn't allow media control, I don't know if that's changed but that was very disappointing at the time

Had this watch for over two years, solid watch with decent info for workouts. I used it mainly for cycling and running. Well worth the 80 quid I paid for it

Bought this a year or 2 ago on the BT deal (I think it was £56). At that time it was £199 on Argos and at time of writing it is £149.99. Still solid as a rock with crazy mad battery life. If you don't need NFC/Music control in your smart watch then at £38 this is a steal. Works perfect with Huawei Health app on my Oppo phone.

Can't fault this watch, had it since it was launched and still going strong. Yeah it maybe lacking in Google pay and media control but it covers pretty much what I need it to do. Oh and I am still getting at least 10 days battery. As for Hauwei products, they are by far the best bang for your buck. How do you kill the competition? Slap them on the sanctions list... Rant over

Is this the one you can take calls on?
    rufus_cat's avatar
No. It will vibrate if you have it linked to your phone & it will display the number but no microphone.
  21. Epping2CPH's avatar
    Does it measure blood pressure.??
    rufus_cat's avatar
    No, just your heart rate.
  22. smidav's avatar
Very flaky with Bluetooth connection in my experience, frequently having to reconnect. Would not recommend.
    kjsav123's avatar
Mine was like that, with a OnePlus, turns out it was the OnePlus and not the watch. Got an update for phone that included Bluetooth update and been rock solid since.
  23. rufus_cat's avatar
Just be warned that you cannot download the mobile app for this on the Google Store, you have to get it direct from Huawei. Not that I had much success doing this when I purchased my new Samsung S23 last week, I'm still trying to install it. A bit faffy.
  24. Boabyb's avatar
Is it possible to use the Zepp app with this instead of the Huawei health app?
