    I'm on the look out for a 24inch smart tv for my kids' bedrooms - i wonder if these may be the better option with a firestick plugged in (no ariel access anyway). Anyone in-the-know got any thoughts on this?! thanks

    24" will look very small across the room. Can get 27" at around this price new/grade A/refurb on ebay. Your kids won't care about 100hz, they will care if its small. Also the built in speakers will be a bit rubbish, worth getting some external.

    Or just don't mess about and get second hand/refurb TV that way you get a remote too. (edited)
