    Something I didn't know till I watched the Steve The Barman video tonight (I added it above too) - the US version is 47% - we in the UK only get it at 40%!

    Steve's favourite seems to be the Lidl Liberte Spiced Rum! The Fat Rum Pirate doesn't mince their words and calls The Kraken "The Krapen" in comparison. (edited)

    This is my opinion and not intended to be an attack on as I still need help with flamedeers but what is it about posting deals for spirits on this site that no matter what popular brand you mention someone always has to come up with a better / cheaper brand within the first couple of comments.
    Surely it is a matter of personal taste and whilst suggesting an alternative is never a bad idea why on this site does that mean you have to criticise the initial brand (and anyone who drinks it).

    A couple of years ago i got given a Rum miniatures gift set and this one was my favourite by far,
    but it just tasted of Vanilla, when mixed with Coke it tasted like cream soda

    I've recently discovered that the cherry vanilla kraken mixed with cream soda is a pretty decent experience.

    Coffee one is ace…. Like a powerful Espresso Martini, right out the bottle .   Keeping in the freezer and over ice is a must ( like sheepdog!!)
