Think the new rewards system so far has been a bit naff. Feels a bit off to spend your points just for a discount. I understand that offering the physical items was probably a bit of a hassle for them, but would rather they just offer older games like they used to with the old system.

You spend 60 coins and then get given 40% off. So you spend £10.79 for the game as well.

Oracle of seasons is 20 coins, then £3.23 and same for Oracle of ages.

I'm hoping they'll announced Switch rewards at E3, in a couple of weeks. I've got about 6,000 points and nothing decent to spend them on

If only I could find a decently priced Wii U

Check Facebook Groups and Gumtree, got a nice Wii U, 7 games and 43 Disney Infinity Character for £150 sold what I didn't need so in the end cost me £80 and got Super Mario Maker and Splatoon for that and swapped Disney Infinity 3.0 for Mario Kart 8, 4 Player Mario Kart is ace

    2 words... RIP OFF.

60 coins ? I get 10-15 coins per switch game, so that means with every 6 switch games i buy (at nintendo prices) , nintendo allow me to have 40% off LOL. Good one nintendo ! haha. Why not just...give us 40% in the first place ? Deary me. Rant over.

It will just be the wii version. There is NO way they are going to bother actually putting any real development into Wii U now Switch is out. If this game gets a HD remaster at all, it will be on Switch for sure. As to the deal? Nintendo's (lack of) generosity knows no bounds....

I have noticed you seem to get more gold coins when buying digital on eshop, rather than redeeming gold coins off a physical copy. I think 60 gold is equivalent to £35 eshop purchase. I agree though they need to scrap the discounts and do something better.

fwiw i also think that the whole Mynintendo thing is garbage. The 'rewards' are way out of whack with how much you have to spend to receive them and the lack of physical items a'la club nintendo is miserable.

Yeah, the old reward system was brilliant. I managed to save points for some pretty good real stuff including a 3DS charging dock, game cases and a binder before they scrapped it.
