    They will normally refund the difference if Amazon themselves lower the price. Not sure if you've seen a cheaper price elsewhere.

    If the person is intending to return for a refund anyway it is worth a shot. Amazon will want slightly less cash instead of no cash. If you don't ask you don't know.
