Can you upgrade anything on it? RAM, SSD or anything else

16GB RAM and 512GB SSD aren't crying out for an upgrade but the screen
    is from the description.

TN display in the year of our lord 2024, I am laffin. If it at least had some bog standard IPS this might be suitable for some, but even then still not a great deal with the quad core Zen 2. No idea how this got so much heat.

Yeah. For reference look at the second last number

    1 is Zen/Zen+
    2 is Zen 2
    3 is Zen 3/3+
    4 is Zen 4

Currently we are on Zen 4 with 5 likely due our later this year

Isn't the screen absolutely rubbish on this? TN panel and only 220nits?
RAM is good, storage is good and it has WiFi 6 though.
What do people think of the Ryzen 5-7520U, quad core processor?

As others have said 7520U is a very cheeky code for a Ryzen processor - it’s old tech Zen2 - it’s beaten by the 5500U. Also this has an extremely dim screen.

16gb and 512gb are commendable but it’s at the cost of the screen and CPU.

    Horrendously old Zen2 CPU

    Yeah - 'released September 22, 2022'

Cannot even remember what happened in that year.

Another good laptop, ruined with a terrible panel. Good for those working on bigger screens external off the laptop.

darn it I bought a similar spec but with a 5700U at 400 GBP .... If I only knew that I would be able to get it at argos for such price

The ryzen 7 5700u is better. Better igpu and multicore performance. (edited)

You can get 3 fireboats for that with 16gb and 512 gb

I'm having thd worst support experience of my life with Lenovo who are breaching UK consumer rights by refusing to replace my device despite repeated repairs and paying for premium service / device failing within 30 days / still in warranty.
