Nice deal by Lyca, offering a six month half price deal with 30gb of data, unlimited calls and texts, 100 mins of international calls from the UK to select countries and offers EU roaming.

All for £5.99 a month for six months and then goes up to £12 a month.

They are also offering £8 cashback on this plan through Quidco, so in theory get the first month free.

No contract or credit check is required. You just pay upfront £5.99 a month and it renews every month until you cancel.

Lyca use EE as the network they piggyback off, and have been getting great speeds and coverage with them. Even though I don't have 5G in the area I live getting speeds of 80-120Mbps.

Even though Lyca offer 5G, they do not support VoLTE or WiFi Calling.

I joined today as I needed a esim hot-spot plan.

The signal is absolutely terrible they are worst that o2.

I can't access data whilst on the call with the sim.
Called customer service, guy said my signal was rubbish which duh your signal is crap and then after having me on hold came back and and then said go to lycamobile online a to sort your issue and hung up.

Avoid these people like the plague.
Cancelled my plan, only signed up yesterday.

I get that EE need to differentiate between their own offers and the third-party providers who undercut them on their own network, but not enabling wifi calling feels really arbitrary. I can't imagine a SIM with wifi-calling enabled costs EE any more to maintain than a SIM without.

It's annoying because I have terrible mobile signal in my house on the EE network so no wifi-calling rules Lyca out for me.

Are you paying for a service that has wifi calling?

I need to run off from Lyca, as I urgently need WiFi calling. Does anyone know what is the second best?
