Shame it's 1 per console otherwise I'd fill my boots. Still, cracking deal if you don't want Mariokart.

I've redeemed two on my console. You just need to set up a dummy Nintendo account.

You can just sign up a new Nintendo club account with a different email to register the Mario Kart 8 code. This will qualify for the 1 game promotion code which is a generic code which can be used on your actual Nintendo club account. You can do this indefinitely well 10 times

It's not one per console. It's one per account on nintendo.co.uk

I got given a digital and physical version of the game.
registered the digital game got pikmin 3.
My physical turned up took the points card out registered it on a new account got mario Bro U, sold the physical off.

Each time you register it you get a redeem code, this isn't locked to an account.

How is this being allowed by the mods?

Why not your covered by paypal, so whats the problem that youve got with this ?
#7
far more profitable to register the code against Wind Waker HD then resell that - easiest £20 I ever made
#8
...so you could potentially get all 10 games? Has anyone actually done this?
#9
the bigger issue here as far as I'm concerned, is where all these points cards are coming from. less-than-reputable retailers skimming from the top is my understanding.

chap I sold my code to had already registered his free game when I sold him mine. it's like the others have pointed out: the end result of this promo is an eshop code which can be registered on any console. there's no tracking on Nintendo's part.
#11
i doubt it too expensive for some of the games
#12
and before anyone asks: I own an 8GB console and I prefer to own my games outright on physical media

Because its just a random guy selling them - not a VAT registered business

yeah - Nintendo Land could be picked up for £5 at one point and Mario and Sonic Olympics 2014 is headed to a clearance bin near you very, very soon.

Where the points are coming from is one thing, but in terms of buying them, a seller with 99.9% positive feedback from 5,000+ sales can't do any harm to its reputation... Heat for OP :)

I've just purchased one for Monster Hunter 3 as I used my code from Mario Kart 8 for Zelda. £10.95 is as cheap as you would like

Bought. Guess we'll see.

I recommend just buying MK8 and getting the free game. Even if you think you won't like it, I think it'll surprise a lot of people (it certainly did me!). Such an awesome game that's made even more awesome by the free game deal. It's worth every penny without the free game offer.

EDIT - just realised from the comments this promo stacks, so you can get multiple free games? Crazy! Heat added.

Looks like it is "Level 99 Games " from Retford.
They are a business seller and can be found on Companies House.

Are you 100% positive that you can create a new account, as I've done it on my original account for sonic lost worlds, then register the Mario code on the new account.. but then redeem the actual chosen game code on the original account.. As I prefer everything on just the one account. Make sense? As I'm tempted to buy 2 more codes!
#23
Well I have already received the code by email and have registered on a new Nintendo Club account and I currently am choosing my new game so definitely fine and working.

top sleuthing!

Seller probably bought the game when it was £30 at Game then sold the game on for more or less that amount as like new then selling the points on. Fair play to them

I am 100000% sure. I've done it. Just make a new nintendo account and register the game to that before the promo date ends. You'll miss out on 250 points on your main account but will be able to get a free game out of it.

you'll need to setup a spoof Nintendo account for each new code you want to redeem. the end result is an eshop code. this can be redeemed on any console regardless of whether you've already redeemed another eshop code from the same promotion.

Thanks! Now for my 2 other choices.. :-)

Wonderful 101 uses over a third of the Wii U space. Keep that in mind.

I can confirm you can have more than one game from this promotion on a single console under one Nintendo account.
I have done so 4 times so far.

You only need a new Club Nintendo account to register the initial points code from the Mario Kart 8 game which entitles you to an additional code linked to one of the free games.

These game codes can be redeemed on any console all under the same account if you wish.

Hope this helps those that are unsure.

I'm downloading Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on my original account which already has Zelda from my Mario Kart 8 code as we speak, so this definitely works for anyone who is unsure whether to buy. £10.95 for an instant game to play is a steal (well for some of the titles anyway)

It doesn't even fit on a Basic.

Yes to bolded. I also think you are confused by account.
The account you redeem the game on (via eShop) is a Nintendo Network ID (NNID). It can be linked to a Club Nintendo account.

What you get the promo codes from is a Club Nintendo account (this predates NNID). The codes gotten from it can be used on any NNID in that region.

Reading the revision summary:
Some of them may be the £30 GAME ones. Listing was created on 20th June with stock added 23rd, 24th June, 5th and 14th July
Prices changed on 29th June and 10th July (since they have very little value at the end of July)

A thing to bear in mind is they do have to scratch the codes off and e-mail that info and someone needs to be paid to do that.
