This is a last minute deal with Jet2holidays from Newcastle. It is staying in the Seda Apartments in Marmaris and includes 22kg luggage pp and transfers. We don't usually get holidays this cheap from Newcastle. Just came back from Marmaris 2 weeks ago, otherwise I would be very tempted!

Im turkish and I have to say it's funny seeing comments downgrading the actual experience you would get from the holidays there. Just like everyplace there's down and ups but Marmaris is lovely, has a lot of english tourists and the sights and activities are great. Antalya is also lovely, the konyaalti section (not alanya). The riots are bot a threat its only located in istanbul mainly, and its riots... Civilians are not attacked by the protestors and it has calmed down. Holiday destinations are not affected.

Agree that anything east of the amphitheatre is generally swarming with chavs, but nearer the marina is ok. Not my favourite destination, but cheap deals can be had

No it is not, I have just come back from there about two weeks ago and didn't have any problems with hygiene in the hotel or surrounding areas - it is a lot cleaner and has less chavs than Essex!!

    Merhaba, nasılsın?!

Thank you for your input. Turkey certainly is a beautiful country and most of the people are very warm and friendly. We usually go to Altinkum with friends 2 or 3 times each year as my friend is half Turkish and has family who live close to the Apollo Temple. Her family are so welcoming and her Grandpa loves to show us his hens, goats and produce that he is growing. Going there has inspired me so much that I am doing a Turkish course! We love it so much there, we never want to come home.

    iyi geceler!

Great deal! I can see many property owners buying this just for the flight element as its much cheaper than flight only!

They just tell the rep they are not using the apartments and they will make their own way from and to the airport.

    Cushty!

I've never heard a single good review of a holiday in Turkey. It's just a poor man's Greece, which is incredibly ironic.

I have been to Turkey many. many times and have just returned less than 3 weeks ago, I would go here in a heart beat if I could. I know of many people who love the place. I have also been to Greece but much prefer Turkey. If you have never been you are not in a position to criticise.
