Matching Waitrose at 4 for £3.55, might help someone.
    waitrose.com/eco…911

I don't have the 15% S&S voucher, so selected accounts only.

The price goes up. Just ended my subscription from last time this was on offer... I thought the price remains the same. But it went back up. See pics

    Very cheeky indeed. (edited)

That's how Subscribe & Save works, the price fluctuates. The coupons are usually to entice people to sign up for the first time.

Very similar price at Waitrose, and given the last couple of orders of these from Amazon had every tin dented, I think I’d rather pay a penny more and not have dented tins.

Waitrose price is £3.55 for 4 tins, so virtually the same price per tin as this deal.

Got 2 packs from Waitrose couple of days ago! (edited)

    Great tomatoes. Worth the cost.

I'm always wary of spending double the price on tinned food but these are worth the cost imo. Add some salt a few basil leaves and you've got enough sauce to cover 4 pizza bases.

What’s this compared to KTC which are £0.50per tin in Icelands
    PC59's avatar
KTC is super unreliable, sometimes good sometimes straight up hydrochloric acid, I used to strain them and boost then with good quality tomato paste before Mutti became widely available. KTC used to be 33p in Asian shops so it made sense. Mutti is much more consistent, less acidic, you can get away with cooking for less time (20-25 minutes is enough for a sauce to develop nicely)

What's the big deal with thois brand? Tell me why I should stop buying my 30p tins
    ayerz4291's avatar
    Better quality.

I once bought 6 cans to try and received 6 x 6 packs. That was a good day.

No subscribe and save discount, same price for me. No voucher too

The branding of their products is spot-on.

I got 12 of these a short while ago from Amazon - very inadequately packed so lots of dented tins and only just remained in the thin box. CS sorted it but Amazon really need to sort their packaging for heavy but fragile items like these. (edited)

Just curious, if cans are dented, why it's a problem? Its still airtight! I never raised an issue since its going to recycle bin anyway.

    No voucher for me.
And (like an increasing number of Prime items recently), only 5% S&S available.

Careful with this one and botulism. I ordered 2 cases and every single can had a dent in it, some were really bashed in. Dodgy amazon.

Are you planning on displaying your tins after using them?

Mutti sounds like a Italian dug food brand

Are you thinking of Muttley from Dastardly & Muttley?
  14. ebury's avatar
Forget that was seeing a different price per kg (edited)

    210g* 12 = 2520g = £13.20
    400g *6 = 2400g = £5.33
Was the price cheaper than £6 for 210g?

    Great price. Thank you

    £5.06 for me
  17. Firedm's avatar
    £5.06 for 1x 6 pack with 5% SS 🏻.

They also offer the Mutti peeled plum tomatoes - 6 cans for £5.94 as a one time purchase (they're £1.50 a tin in Asda). Thanks OP - just bought
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Those ones are £1 a tin in Sainsburys and 99p a tin in Morrisons, if you want different quantities.
Supermarket offers do the rounds, might be cheaper at Asda next week.
  19. maccalen's avatar
How is this a good deal? I pay 62p a tin at supermarkets. (edited)
    Leonh's avatar
    For mutti I doubt it.
  20. logie31's avatar
£4.53 for me, thanks OP. Going to try them as a Pizza sauce

Lidl also do tinned tomatoes with 99% for 75p, grabbed a few but not tried them yet but should be comparable to these given the tomatoe content. Cheaper supermarket brands have 70% max with added juice (water)
    BatteredButter's avatar
Been a little while since I last got them, but a few years back I bought a load of supermarket tinned tomatoes and blind tested myself (as best I could!) and Lidl won, even over Waitrose and M&S.

Didn’t compare them to mutti at the time, so can’t speak to which of those is better. Both taste good in my experience. (edited)
