Yup yup will be downvoted - but this is only in stock for LAUNCH in places which take money upfront. Nintendo charge on dispatch - so go for it!
UPDATE:
A few people concerned if this is launch stock. I have now got confirmation from Nintendo UK that it is indeed launch stock. Please see their response below

sorted byIt's RRP.
Cold.
I appreciate the information, but not voting either way as it's RRP.
My be to you sir, but that's not what the word actually means. I guess that's why it's call HotUKDeals and not just UKDeals. Glad I could help. Thanks for taking the time to post OP.
Maybe there might be a case for this as a deal if it offered exceptional value in its field like a £5k mustang would in the field of automobiles but this blatantly doesn't. Ps4 and xbox one are far cheaper and more powerful, have huge existing libraries with lots of great games under a tenner each. Yet if i go posting "deals" with them at rrp say at amazon they would obviously go freezing in seconds just like this "deal" should imho but just because its new and hence somehow more desirable and by nintendo, surely the apple of videogames, it gets massive credit for being the standard price...

... so are we just going to ignore the Wii's 100 million units sold or? Seemed pretty mainstream when everyone's family and their dog was playing wii sports.

Ok now I know you're on a wind up. What can millions and millions of sales possibly tell us against steve-bezerkers mainstream shooter loving circle of friends?
I thought you were meant to be a Nintendo fanboy !
Nintendo rejected the idea of teaming up with Sony at the time as they didnt think the idea had legs.
Nintendo only sell stuff they are sure to have in stock on launch :). It was recently out of stock until today meaning they managed to secure more.
Always one thats too smart to be taken in by the hype and doesn't want to get fleeced by day one pricing, yep thats me.

mostly.
Even since my grandad bought me my first Gameboy with tennis & Mario, then NES & Zelda with the gold cartridge, then the SNES, it's always been a tradition of mine to pick up the new Nintendo.
Admittedly the Wii U was the most disappointing yet but even though my grandad has now passed I'll carry on with the day one Nintendo purchases.
Zelda looks awesome anyway.
Mario Kart + Legend of Zelda BoTW - £78.98, exactly £39.50 each - from the Amazon BIGTHANKS deal
Splatoon 2 - £39.99, argos £10 off
In December I ordered a NES Mini controller, a couple of days later they took the money, three weeks later they cancelled the order citing they couldn't get stock. I had to chase them to get my money back.
I wouldn't trust them with anything, and if it does go pear shaped, they really won't give a damn!
Still, it's your money..!
I mean the console has nothing to praise except for portability, and with slim consoles and laptops that out-perform the switch what exactly is the sales point of the switch?
you only knew 1 Wii owner? AMAZING! I know lots of people also and you know what, back then, Wii in every home.

Okay well you can stick to your circumstantial evidence and assumptions and I'll stick to facts. Consider my face blue.
I ordered the grey, the coloured one looks funky but the grey looks more sleek and more grown up to me.
Peace love and harmony to all my fellow non mainstream consoles out there, the Apple Pippen, The NeoGeo and the old Mega CD
TBH that could be any date.
It's a heads up for those that are looking for day one stock and don't mind paying the RRP, which you normally do for day one stuff.
Applying heat makes more people aware.
That's a bit redundant considering new budget laptops with GTX 1050 cards outperform a PS4 Pro. The quest for best spec is becoming stale now. Get systems based on the games you want to play, because PC Master Race will never be beaten.

Joined Nov 2004, 0 deals posted. No deal to be had from you either it seems? Kinda difficult for you to knock the deal poster with any credibility?
Those same games have stood the test of time and remain fun, often for unrivalled multiplayer fun too. Is not that different to the shooters of today? Most of them to me are like the old classics (Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake), they just have different names and updated GFX. Same thing?
Buying this means you are helping basically an indie developer keep the lights on for another year...
I mean they only made $4.5bn last year so times are hard and all that.
The RRP is £279.99 and this will sell out at launch, why would a retailer discount it if they are definitely going to sell all their initial stock anyway. I paid the RRP for the PS4 and PS4 Pro I got on launch day from Amazon, retailers typically don't discount new consoles at launch as they make virtually no money from them anyway. The differences are what you get bundled with it in terms of games and accessories and how much extra those bundles cost.
Edit scratch that I did pay slightly less than RRP for PS4 Pro because they price matched Tesco, but the PS4 Pro had weak demand at launch.

oh man Its gonna fade away? just got a 3ds4life tat on my face.
Im just calling it as i see it. No discount over rrp equals no deal and hence not that great of a contribution to the deals section. It would be fine in misc though.
As to the best price that was gameseeks preorder at £198 but obviously not available now. As to my input, at £280 i think it is overpriced and launch software deeply underwhelming and peripherals astronomical. Id urge people to vote with their wallets and not buy till the price falls. Of course that won't go down well with the nintendo die hards this thread seems to have pulled in but so be it.
I have nothing against Nintendo, like the look of the switch but think they have the pricing wrong, its a sub £200 machine nearly £100 too expensive with no bundled game. I intend to buy but only when its sub £200 and with more to play than zelda...
