Do you mind sharing why you think the regular one is better then the XL?
You could also say just let people get the version that they feel more comfortable with some like the normal versions others the XL, differnt strokes for different folks, it's not effecting you so why be bothered by what others want. Just enjoy your 3ds and it's great games

I also use Shopto and have had no issues at all.
Does it come with a memory card?
Many would disagree, the XL is bigger (better ergonomically for adults), has bigger screen for better emersion - the only compormise really is PPI - but a worthy trade off in my opinion.
Also shopto are fine

Very tempting.
The XL's screens are just too big. With them all having the same screen resolution, the pixels are huge. You don't get a better experience unless you're half blind or planning on somehow playing it from the other side of the room. The original 3DS' screens were a little small for me, but the New 3DS has bigger screens. It's the perfect middle ground. In my opinion, holding the XL makes you look a bit silly, too. It's gigantic.
