Tried using the code on a Nintendo Switch game but never worked.

It was weird, I clicked on the option to change edition between standard/joy-con and it said £79.99, then added it to basket and it said £99.99 again.

I bought this bundle and sold the code, then bought the physical version. At the same price. Was delighted with that. Digital sucks. This was last Christmas though.

Yes had a dispatch email from Currys on Wednesday. I also had the neon switch in my basket at 10am and it went oos before I could confirm hence tried the grey and it worked

Thanks For your update!! I did write a letter of complaint....i need to follow it up! The store gave me 10% off and were VERY apologetic, i told them it wasnt there fault and it was the stoopid computer boffs that obviously sold more than they had!

Yeah it's daft. Just a little update I managed to get them to honour the deal but with mario kart in place of mario party. They offered the initial £25, they said the total with the joy cons and mario kart would be £88 with their offer, so I asked if they could reduce the total to £80 to match the bundle price and So I could use the gift cards and they obliged quite quickly strangely enough. The bundle was 79.99 so I ended up having to pay a penny. But well worth it. It was a bit more complicated than I've made out but that's probably because it was on two gift cards. Had to order the joy cons at full price, for home delivery. They then refunded the delivery charge aswell as an additional £32.98. Which left me a penny to pay.

I've had the same issue. I used two gift cards to make the order up. I've just this morning had my cancellation email "as i didn't collect in time" I've spoke to them on Twitter and they asked if an alternative was available so I suggested they send the joy cons and the game separately and honour it that way. Which it seemed like they were about to do but the game is out of stock locally. Instead they've offered a £25 discount on just the joy cons stand a lone item. It's not brilliant but it's ok ish. I'm trying to haggle a bit more making the argument I'd be out of pocket if I had to pay full price for the game elsewhere.

I wanted to inform people who May think they can use this controller when playing games undocked.

Do you mean only when connected to TV? My son has a Switch and I'm forever nagging him about posture when he's playing e.g. in the back seat of the car. I'd rather see him using a controller and have the unit placed at eye level.

Also only works when docked...

I've had this controller for about 3 months now and it's an excellent contender for a budget Pro Controller replacement. The only downside is that it's a wired controller but the wire is very long so it's not a huge issue.

Yeah i saw this, but just above add basket says: 'Day one stock has sold out.' Not sure when the next batch would be back in stock. But yes, would make it slightly cheaper, depending how long you're waiting for it to be dispatched/delivered.

The Base.com deal works out slightly cheaper at 88.95 plus cash back with quidco (and if you can add in on a bonus day) brings it down by 1.42.

I did make an account before posting this one, i received the £10 promo code, however it said you need to spend £299 to qualify.
