    Very good for the price! If you can stretch a bit more and you care about Dolby vision, it's worth getting the next player up, UB450. However, that's £100 more right now than this player and probably not worth it in any case! But it's been about 150 before and that's when it's worth it. If you can get this for £90 and you don't have a uhd player - buy it!

    If you have iTunes, then it's gets a bit complicated - the bitrate on a uhd is miles better but comparing with this sort of player you might be hard pressed to notice the difference. Also convenience takes over. I've got the 450 player and have since stopped buying uhds because I'm buying the films on iTunes in good movie bundle packages, which is quite a lot cheaper than uhd, and it still looks damn good on the atv... No proper Atmos though, so worth having a dedicated uhd for that if that's really important
