Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire is home to a wide array of animals including, big cats, penguins, gibbons, zebras, camels and reptiles. As well as all the fascinating animal friends for you to meet, the park offers a range of entertaining talks and shows. Make sure to consult your park map on arrival so that you don't miss anything

You can obviously alter the amount of people but price will vary, you'll also need to print the tickets and bring the card you paid with otherwise entry will be refused.

Adult tickets are valid for those aged 16 years and over. Child tickets are valid for ages 2-15 years. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

    One of the best wildlife parks I have ever been. High level platform everywhere so that you can get an aerial view of the animals. You won't get that even in London zoo, Chester Zoo, Bristol Zoo or Colchester Zoo. I highly recommend it to anyone with children .. not in a cold day though!

    I also second that this is the best wildlife Park, I have been to a few and this is by far the best, the animals have good size enclosures but they make the enclosures so you can almost always the animals because of the high platforms and all around viewing places.

    When my two kids were little, we bought a really good value family season ticket for this wonderful place. It also houses a Speedway museum if anyone is interested in that as well, and has a massive, olympic size paddling pool! I'd love to live in one of the houses nearby, as they often get woken up by the sound of the Lions roaring.

    But I can confirm this is one of my favourite Zoo's in the UK and i've been to most in the last 3 years.

    I too would recommend it , but choose your day , preferably sunny as there is a lot of walking around in the open air . Take a camera with spare batteries. Some season ticket holders are photographers. I learnt something there that penguins are not those white and black adorable creatures shown on TV but very smelly. There is a land train that tours round the park but to see all the enclosures you need to walk so it is a good keep fit exercise into the bargain.

    Great park. Cheep tickets after school in term time. Has very much improved over the years. High recommend it. Go early as gets very busy in the holidays.
