Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following.

The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game.

The game’s two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

Product Features

Extensive single player: Featuring next generation gameplay and a wildly-engrossing story.
Complete two-person co-op: Multiplayer game featuring its own dedicated story, characters, and gameplay.
Advanced physics: Allows for the creation of a whole new range of interesting challenges, producing a much larger but not harder game.
Original music.
Massive sequel: The original Portal was named 2007's Game of the Year by over 30 publications worldwide.
Editing Tools: Portal 2 editing tools will be included. Note: To be made available after launch

Just finished playing Portal for the first time the other week (and subsequently about 3 more times). CanYouRunIt says my laptop can run this at recommended settings, so I've bought it.

    Cheers.

Is it worth buying the Portal 1 and Portal 2 bundle for £11.49, or should I jump straight into the second one?

Well spotted - I suggest that people pair up to take advantage of this double-pack deal, like me and a ton of other people did for the Borderlands GOTY 4-pack.

Come on guys - only 3 days left!

What's the cheapest price for this on the 360 these days?

I want to play coop with a friend- £17.49 for 2 copies seems cheaper than buying 1 copy for the Xbox!
  22. format's avatar

finally, been waiting for this to get a sale - with recent price drop it's cheaper than i expected too.

if you haven't got portal do yourself a favor and get the bundle - probably worth completing first one before starting 2nd (it's only short), though it'd take half a sentence to provide a plot synopsis its all about the experience.

Yeah, unfortunately I did. I've just built a new computer after my last one was from the prehistoric era.

I'm loving the Steam deals at the moment, as it has been a long time since I've being able to use a PC for gaming.

I'm going to buy the bundle. Might as well for £1.50 extra.

Any ideas if this will run well on a Dell Studio 1558? My specs are:

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 540 @ 2.53GHz
    Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB
Graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
Gaming graphics 2746 MB Total available graphics memory

Just asking because I know from previous experience that Steam don't do refunds...

Your computer should be able to run the game.

You could always use this, to test and find out. Can you run it?

good price but i was disappointed by this game.

Nothing really new here compared to the first game.
Pretty limited replay value compared to other games as well.
Even my steam friends who have own this havn't exactly racked up the game hours with this
