£380 is a good price. Hot.

OUT OF STOCK so not any good im afraid.
I just ordered the Sony from JL and it was between that and the LE40C580 as the 580 is slightly better picture but no internet TV, so I would look out for as deal on the 580 instead of 530 tbh. Still hot tho!
Just plug whatever you're playing on the WDTV into the samsung USB slot and it plays. I have WDTV but its now redundant that I have this tv.
Picture is good but I also have an 8000 series LED and it blows this away. Still, good for the price.
Its not out of stock, and also comes with 5 year warranty!
It hasn't been out of stock, that was the 32" model.
The Sony picture quality does not even come close to the Samsung,
Don't know where you get that idea from.
Both get pretty good write ups, eg. on HDTVtest.co.uk and the Sony was rated that and on various other sites while it was at a MUCH higher price than the Samsung.
I have a Samsung myself, and not particularly a Sony fan, but for the price and the deal itself, it's a no-brainer.
The Sony is out of stock now at JL (32" and 40"). I didn't buy the Sony specifically because they had such poor reviews for SD output, I haven't checked this Samsung model but going by professional and user reviews some (e.g. Samsung LE40C580) definitely seem to handle SD much better than those Sonys.
Of course I'm now kicking myself for possibly missing a great bargain, but I wouldn't have been happy if SD played very much worse on my new LCD than my old CRT...

I will have a look out for an 8000 series LED then, I will still have to use my WD media player though as I have them in the different rooms of the house connected to my NAS drive which can only be connected via eithernet cable unless any one know away round this??
The Nas drive I have is the WD World Edt 2tb. I am looking for another NAS drive though as this one is now full.
