sorted by£38.99 for 200gb card excellent deal thanks OP
Same as your heart...
Great price, but this kind of storage is borderline scary for cameras etc. I sort of like the idea of slightly lower storage that forces you to backup/wipe your card and then start again. 200GB is a hell of a lot of "memories" to lose.

If you found or was given a free £1 off voucher off at MacDonald and you decided on a Big Mac meal at £4.59, how much did you pay £4.59 or £3.59?
My point wasn't how much this chap paid. That is his personal business/details etc. I don't really care how much someone else paid for this card. My message was in response to his second statement "£38.99 for 200gb card excellent deal". Clearly it isn't an excellent deal at £38.99, because it isn't £38.99. The only reason it is £38.99 is because he has some voucher, which doesn't apply to anyone else and has no relevance to anyone else on HUKD.
90MB is ample.
thats upto 90mb read, write speeds will be much slower

Same here, bought on the black Friday deals, lasted about four months and then totally dead.
However good service from Sandisk, replaced with no problems.
Indeed. Since they don't advertise even UHS-1 on the card (or the Amazon product page) but UHS/Class 10 only, they only speed you'll get for sure is 10 MB/s. Anything over that mark might (or might not) happen.
_up to_ 90 MB/s _read_ speed means it might be fast enough to play 4K content on your phone from the card...
In the real world you might barely hit 10MB/s read and 1MB/s write: pcmag.com/art…asp
I would refrain from buying this card - while definitely large, it's also slow. _At most_ for shooting 1080p/30fps movies, or large-but-not-too-big pictures, but not much more. Well, I could keep my music there, that would work
I had ultra 64gb fail on me after a year but card got locked so I coluld still copy stuff of it just couldnt write anything to it. Replaced within a month straight from holland.
DId you have to return the faulty card to Holland beforehand?

Yes
of course, why wouldn't it be? In fact, if you don't mind some software tinkering, these UHS-I cards can be overclocked quite well in an rpi which could almost double the read speed you get: jeffgeerling.com/blo…i-3
I have just bought a Kingston U3 90mb/s read and 80mb/s write. I have a standard goPro (non 2k or 4k) and the difference between this and U1 card is noticeable even when just taking a photo. There used to be a delay of 1-2s and now with this high speed card its almost instant.
I am still considering buying a second card as it will be used for music, but for those who require high transfer speeds consider the results from PCwelt.
How quickly the Sandisk Ultra microSDHC 200GB is under ideal conditions?
In an ultra-high-speed card reader Sandisk model achieved during sequential read up to 92 megabytes per second. This is an excellent value, even approaches almost to the top speed of the fastest micro SDXC cards in the test. When writing the 200 GB card manages, however, only just under 15 MB / s, the 128 GB competition here is almost twice as fast. The access time is just under 0.9 milliseconds - a good value.

You sire, are a legend. Thanks for the tip.
But it is not £38.99 for a 200GB card is it? I have £100 credit in my account, does it make the card £0?
Regardless, good deal.
Yes it is read the sentence again - "I got it"
Also the £10 was FREE not originally paid for by anyone due to audible deal.
Maybe they'll drop microSD support on their phones in favour of their own new standard. That's the only way I see them selling.
The size and shape of the card is the same, so if they make their slots dual compatible with the old Micro SD and the new cards... it may work out for them.
you need to get out more.
Because?
She doesn't understand what this is.
thought I'd start this argument!
a while ago with TVs it was cold not 1080p, then cold not 4K, then cold not HDR, so now with memory cards it needs to be UFS, regardless if anything actually supports them or not

Do you have a link to get this for that price please
