So, 10MB/s slower than what was, a Toshiba one at much less than half the price.

Hahaha...yes.. I checked the price's gone up. So had to expire.. Thanks for updating.. (highfive)
And now back at base for £5.99 but sure it said £9.99 a moment ago, which I guess is why this was expired.

Thank you so much for info. I can impress my children now (strong)
Thank you for replying quickly (y)
Yes, pecking order is: Sandisk Ultra, Extreme, Extreme Plus, Extreme Pro. The Sandisk Ultra 128GB is a good deal for £18.32
SD High Capacity (SDHC™) card is an SD™ memory card based on the SDA 2.0 specification. SDHC capacities range from 4GB to 32GB Default Format: FAT32 SD Extended Capacity (SDXC™) card is an SD™ memory card based on the SDA 3.0 specification. SDXC capacities range from 64GB to 2TB Default Format: exFAT Because SDXC uses a different file system called exFAT and it works differently than standard SD cards, this new format is NOT backwards compatible with host devices that only take SD (128MB to 2GB) or host devices that only take SDHC (4GB to 32GB). Most host devices built after 2010 should be SDXC compatible
I was looking at the Sandisk Ultra 128gb - is that a slower version to SanDisk Extreme? Thanks
From this review: https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/02/13/sandisk-a2-and-400gb-microsd-roundup-review-buy-for-storage-not-apps/ "SanDisk's inflated 160 & 170MB/s sequential read speeds are only attainable with the company's own card readers. Real life results are sub 100MB/s."
They have the picture of the newer faster A2 card and the specs of the older slower A1 card - it'll be interesting to see which card buyers get.
Might be the wrong picture, not to worry ;)
Yes, I kept thinking that... Either Halfords are selling A1 or The description is wrong. I am confused here.. I had sent an enquiry about it.. ;)
Wrong description for this A2 card, it should be 170MB/s, a lot faster than the one you linked
(cheeky) (cheeky) (cheeky) ;)
I'll bite at £50, amazing price though.
stuff it lol I love scan disk taking photos for my s8 phone. Brought one thanks to the op!!.
Voted hot A2, V30 u3 hot
Have a similar integral 64 card been fine for approx 3 years, got for£3.03 on amazon. gets perfect reviews on my memory. I suspect somebody has been selling fake cards on amazon.
these get bad reviews on amazon, not sure on source of the reviewed cards though hella cheap but watch out!
The 48mbs is valued at £8 voucher as I asked yesterday. That's £7.99 at pitstop so nothing on that one.
Let us know.
What's cex paying for it?
Apart from questionable seller, just tested 128GB U3 version of these cards and it appears to be between 5 and 10% slower than same version of Samsung Evo (128GB U3). Not sure if U1 version have same difference, but based on tests, would rather go for Samsung
Cheaper from CCL ebay store https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Transcend-300S-64GB-UHS-I-U1-Class-10-microSDXC-Card-/113302556271?hash=item1a615bce6f ... or from Amazon with prime https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BSS16NR?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=idealocouk-21&ascsubtag=0orODay8XOCWCC-a8EkLLw
Why not 512? :/
Tempted to buy one for my laptop, easier than upgrading the SSD and only need to store music and such so speed wouldn't be critical! Assume windows ok with 480? I just wish there was a way to make them flush!
got 32GB for under a £5 on this site, enough for me
yep its mad......and still Samsung, Apple etc want to tuck you up good and proper for relatively tiny increases in built-in memory. I wonder where we'll be in a decade.
480Gb? I think I'll wait for a few expert opinions to come in. And bear in mind most devices have a limit of 128Gb or something for memory cards.
Who actually read the full t&c.. Also they took when buyer dispute or when eBay froze your account and cannot get into it. They give you time to take money out and cannot dispute so cheeky buyers said didn't get goods and refund them etc many situation where eBay dip things without your permission.
Yes SanDisk etc Since go pro accessories cost double than non go pro.. There are plenty of SanDisk on HotUKDeals
Probably 128gb sandisk extreme will be better in that case I guess
It will work but slow you spent so much on go pro. You get brand expensive card. That to say. My brand expensive micro card was damaged ie fried in hot country.
Anyone know is this will work with the GoPro Hero 5 Black? Thanks
Price is falling as now you need a U3/V30 card to support 4K video.
This deal isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Crazy price! Though this is one of the sizes I don’t need! Basically 32GB for IP cameras and other camera systems and then 256GB+ for phones and tablets. Sounds so spoilt when I say it out loud!
Yes, the cheapest for this particular brand and specs ;)
hmmmm nice price...going down... (highfive)
Can you afford This , it's on limited time offer @ Amazon
Damn it i just bought the Samsung 32gig ones 3x and fitted them like 4 hours a go.. (shock) (annoyed)
This one is very fast, but costs more!
need a new sd card for my raspberry pi3 , which one is the best speed wise?
Didn't have to search... simply know what are the best prices for particular cards :) Here you have faster card from 7dayshop for less https://www.7dayshop.com/products/transcend-micro-sdxc-micro-sd-memory-card-class-10-uhs-i-u1-v30-a1-95mb-s-64gb-ts64gusd300s ... or even cheaper from Amazon with prime https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BSS16NR?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=idealocouk-21&ascsubtag=_KzjbwWnygDpibDSTO8CSg
I have cards going back 10 years that still run fine. Something feels dodgy if this many were going bad within 3 months use.
This is completely damning. I've never heard of such a thing: all cards, on diffrent machines, within a year, ridiculous! With some cheap Chinese make maybe
That's better detail - nasty after sales care though, thanks for sharing. One of the reasons I don't like going over 32Gb with these things! Frustratingly when they go bad it's usually unrecoverable and either reports it needs formatted or doesn't appear at all! Data recovery is possible, but for me the cost outweighs the need!
Class 10 means a minimum of 10Mb/s & v30 means a minimum of 30Mb/s, given the price I doubt it'll be much faster. I guess more real world speeds would be something like 2Gb/minute (which is about 33Mb/s!), but speed of transfer depends on a lot of things (host speed, file size, quantity, etc). At that speed it seems it would take around 4 hours to fill it! I guess it depends what you are going to use it for - personally I try to avoid anything over 32Gb for my photos, I have a few 64Gb cards, but rarely fill them in one session. I'd rather have 15 x 32Gb cards than 1 x 480Gb for my pictures. Obviously others usage might be different...
Various cards in various devices. Not all in one device. Yes i did get them replaced under warranty. When the replacement cards died they refused to replace them even though they admitted the cards were faulty. Will never buy a card from this company again.
If I didn't already have the Sandisk 200GB I would have bought it at this price. Also I think it's important people like you do take the time to post these deals because micro SD cards are always in demand and that was a great price.
Thank you, Appreciate it :D
Ordered, thanks OP
Well this is the cheapest this Integral 256GB card has been and it’s good model - I think it’s fair game. Anyway it’ll expire and disappear at 8pm so it won’t be around to disturb you. Also some sellers used the voucher as an opportunity to scalp buyers by putting up the price but not this one, so it’s actually a lot harder to find good buys with the voucher...
Fair point, but some people may be thinking 'what shall I buy...'
Been waiting for this sub £18. Thank you!
Great price, heat.
Raises an interesting prospect of making a Raspberry Pi file server with no external disk! (and yes, I appreciate there's no "protection" but can you imagine one of these with say, a Pi Zero W powered off a powerbank, making a standalone/ take anywhere media server?)
Exactly, When I see my 240 GB HDD still some where in my attic, from a decade ago .. feel how far we've come now.. XD Cheerz.. ;)
It's amazing to think how mindblowing 400gb would have been just a few years ago - and now we can store it on micro SD cards. Think I'm showing my age (zombie) Nice find though, heat added.
Yes, as it's a better UHS-3 card, while the Sandisk here is a lower-rated UHS-1 card. 3 times faster sequential write speeds according to this benchmark comparison: https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/test-centre/storage/best-microsd-cards-3640745/ Quoted from this useful article: How to choose an SD card: Class and speed ratings explained "The SD Association has two UHS Speed Classes, UHS Speed Class 1 and UHS Speed Class 3. UHS Speed Class 1 supports a minimum 10MB/s write speed, whereas UHS Speed Class 3 supports at least 30MB/s write speed. The UHS Speed Class is denoted by either a 1 or 3 inside of a bucket U symbol. As a rule of thumb, 4K-capable camcorders will usually require at least a U3 rated SD card." Welcome to the HUKD forums (highfive)
Is it a better scard ?
Better UHS-3 rated Samsung Evo Plus 64Gb with adapter is £9.99 delivered at Picstop: https://www.picstop.co.uk/micro-sdxc/samsung-evo-plus-micro-sdxc-uhs-i-card-with-adapter-64gb.html Edited to add UHS-3....
Delivery is 30th of March (annoyed)
Oh ... yes....forget to mention that...lol XD
Except my CC balance (shock)
Nice spot, bought one
Ahhhhh. Would do nicely in my switch
