Not sure how much this is at regular price, but £8.66 for one of the games of the year seems like a bargain to me!

Also Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate has been discounted by 50% to £24.99.

Sale starts 1st January and ends 8th January.

Shovel Knight is a 2D side-scrolling platform game. The game features 8-bit graphics designed to resemble classic games. The game’s color scheme matches the Nintendo Entertainment System’s original colour palette, and the graphics include visual touches such as parallax scrolling.

Was waiting for this to be discounted but now that the Wii U points deal is ending I have no idea which console to get it on.

That cross platform promotion for Shovel Knight ends when the eShop gets updated today. Therefore you'll only save 1/3 either way. May as well purchase it now to save waiting.

I think it was £12.99 normally, so 33% off. Good stuff, got £5 I need to use on my Wii U, so it's only going to cost me £3.66 Thanks!

As sweep_puppy mentioned, Sony will be releasing this on PS4/PSV in (early?) 2015, so i will wait for then... Been hearing good things about it though

Easily one of the best games of the year. Excellent mechanics, level design, enemies, boss battles, movement, art style etc. Extremely well polished to boot.

Oh and monster Hunter for under £30 is a steal. hundreds upon hundreds of hours of great gameplay and multiplayer. get the wii u version for online multiplayer. the game also supports save data transfer with the 3ds if you have it there too.

Clocked this a few days ago. Its like someone made a SNES game 25 years ago and held off the release until now. Great old school platforming and great soundtrack to boot. Hot from me.

If you do a search on here, WWHD seems to be on Tesco @ £25 every few weeks, so hopefully it'll happen again at some point soon.

It is pretty easy and short (4 hrs for me). Loads of extra content was promised as part of the Kickstarter (As a free update). However I believe because the 3DS version was contracted out (To Abstraction Games) it won't be added to that version. (It is possible I am wrong and just a portion won't be).

Weird how many people bought this right before it got reduced. :P Maybe because it's featured on a lot of game of the year lists that reminded people it existed? I know that's what convinced me to spend £13 on it the day before the sale was announced! Ah well, it's a contribution to the devs, might even get it on 3DS if the 33% discount still applies on top of this. Heat.

Easy? You're a much better gamer than me methinks. There were a few levels that made me want to do violent things...... Especially the ones involving the propeller dagger and those very irritating propeller fellas that blow you off platforms and stop the propeller dagger dead in its tracks.

The deadline to earn points is today, redeem by end of March and once the ehop voucher is aded to your account, it should last for quite some time.
