Both the same really, just depends where you want to play ! Although the 3ds version won't get the battle mode that's planned.

I will ALWAYS give this game heat! Even if they raise the price :P

Cheapest I can find for a NEW physical copy on 3DS is £15, so HEAT.

I saw this at the weekend and grabbed it quick. It is probably the best non-retro retro style game I have ever played and the soundtrack is awesome!

​I don't tend to take my 3ds out of the house, so no preference there! Interesting you say about battle mode. I understand the Wii u version has Co op mode and the 3ds apparently has good 3d sections.

I've got the pc,3ds,vita and ps4 versions. you need the shovel knight amiibo to unlock the co-op mode on wii u. the 3d is used well but it's not enough to just buy that version because of it.

Okay. well no plans to play coop or to get the amiibo. Might just get it on 3ds. Seems like for the power requirements of the game it seems pointless turning on the Wii u and playing on the gamepad.

I would hold off if you can. that humble bundle leads me to believe that Shovel Knight might make an appearance.

​I meant that it sounds like you were warning people off the deal to wait with it being better value if it were to appear on humble bumble. I thought the point of that site was to pay what you want, so why pay less than this price as the money would be going to charity.

Ah, for the sake of balance and all the love I'll chip in my absolute distain for shovel knight. I've been gaming since the dark ages and it's one if the games that stands out as being grossly overhyped and even more overrated.
