Hoping they've made improvements to the design since then. My Xbox One launch controllers are still as good as new, despite much more use.

    ​Hah. I've had 3 replacements on my ps4 and none on my xbox one. Both my ps4 ones are out of warranty now so I may get this as I know one of mine will probably break soon.

    Get rubber caps on them. Mine are goid as new under the caps and they're over a year old. Plus the caps give me more grip

    I got mine from John Lewis for this price with 2 year guarantee. Admittedly it was 6 months ago but that price was quite common.

    Did they ever improve the controllers ? I heard ages ago that they were releasing a updated one with tougher sticks and a better battery.

    Saying that despite me putting way too many hours into my PS4 and having it nearly 2 hears my controller is still like new, the battery still lasts a day so nothing has changed there ha
