You sir are the definition of a fanboy & should just go join the inevitable long queue outside your nearest apple store now, out of harms way.

No it's not better. No iOS, you're very limited in good quality apps and games. I had an HTC Flyer running Honeycomb and compared to my mates iPad it was awful. I sold it in the end, nothing can compare to the quality experience available on an iPad. If I were you I'd pay an extra £30 and get an iPad.
Seriously, if you buy an Android tablet you will regret it. I felt sick with regret after I bought mine, I hate that feeling.

iPad 2 is £300!
I prefer Blackberry over iPhone, I find it more suitable to my needs and suits my budget
I recently got a HTC Flyer and again it suits my needs, for size, budget and function.
I find all the media coverage of the iPad 3 launch really depressing, its like the birth of a messiah or something! The press ceases to be independent when Apple launches any 'i' product.
Yes it has a better screen but some of us dont want to buy in Apple's restrictive ecosystem and the old 'its Apple's way or the highway' approach.
If you are in the market for a tablet, do yourself a favour, spend a few minutes playing with each tablet available in a shop and see which one you like rather than troll on an internet forum and crticise other people's preferences.
Wow.
Just wow.
I'm so lost for words.
Any comment I make on this would just be mean.

I didn't mean to like this comment, but please, anyone reading it, please, please, please don't take the comment too seriously. This is a prime example of the old man screaming at his remote because it won't let him phone Betty for some reason.

Just out of curiosity, why do you specifically go for RoBad as being a fanboy? His preference is to Apple, because he prefers Apple.
The comment he was commenting on, by No8 was just as much against the iPad and for Android, as RoBad was against Android and for Apple, yet you specifically targeted your comment at RoBad?
Does that make you "the definition of an" Apple hater or "the definition of" an Android fanboy? (_;)
Each to their own, both have advantages over each other and I personally like and own both Apple and Android.
itunes is horrible.
But android doesn't have a killer tablet yet.
Android have only just managed to get a killer phone in the s2 recently.
They are not there just yet With tablets.
What a crock of ****
*hugs rooted Touchpad*

Dunfyboy...tsk tsk...as your EDA i reprimand your language!
p.s. I'll tell your missus!
It's horses for courses - the isheep are ones who buy an ipad but have'nt looked at an Android tablet.....and so are making a choice based on what's cool without any real thought and then try to advise other people on what to buy....
Now jailbreak said IOS device and it'll blow any android out of the water. It's just as customisable as an android but with a far superior interface
Probably not, as dongle drivers are written for Windows or OSX. Best bet would be to treat yourself to a payg Mifi, stick your sim in and connect using wifi.
I am after a samsung 7" tab plus and your comments are a bit worrying. Different browsers can be insatlled though under Android.
However I have a 10" Asus transformer - and I don't believe the browser has ever crashed... a few apps yes but not the browser - I think the screen is pretty good as well. Many non-tablet apps work just fine on it.
So I think there is quite a bit of variability between Android tablets. For me being able to store videos etc on an SD card and transfer files to the tablet without needing wi-fi or a PC is also very useful...
ICS i.e Android 4.0 should also bring speed & smoothness benefits...

Nice to see this hasn't just turned into an Android vs iOS thread (_;)
As pointed out by Adidas Addict, now £299 at sony.co.uk too so expect it to be this price at plenty of other places soon.

Why???
He means because the ipad 2 and a half is out. For those that don't like doing everything through itunes, not expanding memory etc I hope the new ipad drives down the price of android tablets too.
