Waited ages for these to drop in price before purchasing a couple of weeks ago. Worth every penny though, they’re the best wireless headphones at this price point,

Can you use these on xbox/ps5 and retain similar features like you can with each consoles proprietary headphones

Nope, Xbox does not support Bluetooth.

Great headphones. Purchased from Sony as a refurb for 189.99 worth every penny. 12 months warranty and look brand new with cables, case etc. worth checking every now and then.

    And the Google what??

It is optimised for "the Google" - it's the sort of thing my grandparents would say

How do these compare against the AirPod max that are twice the price?

Very close tbh, the noise cancelling on the Sonys is class leading but the AirPods are right there or some say better but honestly that varies with head shape etc, I just ordered the xm4s because for the shape of my head they’re actually better than either of the other two. The AirPods are just insanely priced, they are brilliant undoubtedly but they’re not twice the quality of these, and they’re not audiophile grade either like the cans they’re priced in relation to. My biggest issue with them is the stupid bra they call a case they come with, the xm4 have the smallest portable case so for travel they’re the ones I went for. If you’re in the £200-300 price range the sennheiser momentum 4s are on a nice discount too, they also go blow for blow with the Sonys but are £50 cheaper rn and have twice the battery life. If the xm4s don’t work out for me I’ll give those a go

I’ve been holding out for the BOSE Quiet comfort Ultra. Anyone know, from experience, how they compare?

I tested both a fair amount and these came out on top. There’s not a lot of difference in sound quality but the Sony’s do have a touch more bass. The Sony app has a great equaliser that allows for high levels of customisation meaning this can be adjusted if not to your taste.

The Sony’s are also by far the most comfy. Well ahead of the Bose, B&W and Sennheiser equivalents.

There are loads of reviews comparing all the above, the Sony’s nearly always come out on top. (edited)

    These or Momentum 4 ?

I liked the Momentum 4’s when testing all the wireless headphones around this price point, they were my second favourite behind the Sony’s. That said, the Sony’s were better in nearly every aspect still and, crucially, they felt much more comfortable as well (at lest for me).
