Mario Kart 8 Bonus Game Promotion
Mario Kart 8 hits Wii U on May 30th, bringing the series into a new dimension with antigravity racing, exhilarating online play, and the ability to share your race highlights with the world.
Thanks to our special Mario Kart 8 Bonus Game Promotion, if you register the PIN code for Mario Kart 8 in Club Nintendo between 10am (UK time) on May 30th and 11:59pm (UK time) on July 31st, you could claim a free download code for one of a selection of great Wii U games!

Buy Mario Kart 8 - get one of 10 Wii U games free
The console's best games, direct to you
Nintendo was always going to go big with the release of Mario Kart 8, but with the new Bonus Game Promotion they've pinned their colours to the mast - if you buy Mario Kart 8 at retail or via eShop and register it with Club Nintendo, you can get one of 10 games as a free download. This is quite special.
Those games are: Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros. U, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Wii U version), Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Sonic Lost World (Wii U version), Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and Wii Party U. It's worth noting that most of that list sits among the very best of Wii U's lineup.
Codes must be registered between 30th May 2014 and 31st July 2014, and downloads will be received by 31st August (although we'd suspect they'll come significantly earlier than that). Finally, remember that this means the Special Edition hardware bundles Nintendo recently announced essentially contain an extra game of your choice - that's quite a deal!
You can choose from:
Nintendoland
Super Mario Bros U
Game & Wario
Pikmin 3
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Sonic Lost World
Mario & Sonic at the Soichi 2014 Winter Olympic Games
Wii Party U
Wonderful 101
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
(well done Ninty )

That said it's a good deal if you don't want the extra remotes (edited)
Heat added.

Would likely go for Monster Hunter as the free game.
Technically any home console is going to be a dust gatherer no matter how often you play it.
Here you go:
Though I don't regret my slightly overpriced purchase .... playing Windwalker whilst in bed via the gamepad is epic!!!
If your looking for an excuse to purchase then this is the one.
It could only be improved if Mario 3D World was in the offer. I'd have risked divorce for that
£199 for Console
- £1.99 Clubcard points
- £3.32 Quidco

Probably gathers less dust in the short term compared to a PS4 or Xbox One though. Long term doubts, but can you put a price on fun? Mario Kart 8 is looking so great.
...a free game...?
No one wants it in white, it evokes bad memories of the crap last console.
Everyone will be playing MK9 by the time that happens. X)
Tied to console yes, you need to buy one download per console. If console becomes faulty you need to send it back to Nintendo and they will fix it or transfer the games to another console if they can't fix it. If you exchange it with the retailer all downloaded stuff is lost.
Same with Wii, DSi, 3DS, etc etc

Mario Kart, one of my joys of my teen years, probably one of the best games I have ever played, so I'd imagine this one will be a lot of fun also!!!
I wont be getting one but fantastic deal and heat added.
PS, my mother is a wh*re, I own an xbone.

Do it and live on noodles for a month
Wii U Pro Controller is incredibly comfortable.
Otherwise, you can just use a Wii Remote.
the zelda WW bundle was a digital only download, but it's written in big letters on the front of the box that it is
it will come with just the game pad (the big touchscreen one). You can use old wii remotes with it if you have some from an old wii, it does prefer wii remote plus though or you can invest in a wii u pro controller. Not sure what the best option is but if MK8 is like the wii one you'll want proper controllers as the steering wheel control method was usable but not a touch on using the pro pad add on or gamecube controllers. The wii u pro pads are very good, comfortable to hold, just the right weight and the best part is the battery lasts around 80 hours between recharging so you really never have stop mid game to change batteries or to a freshly charged one. Personally I have the game pad, 3 old wii remotes I had anyway with a wii pro pad, and then one official nintendo wii u pro pad and 2 cheap gameware ones. They are good enough for the rare occasion I want to play 4 player and should cover MK8 duties.
What's Super Mario Bro U like? I was thinking of the mario and luigi bro U. Would i need both or is just one good enough? Would either choose that or Zelda but I'm not so sure about that Zelda as I still have it for my GameCube

Pretty much all the free games are great (except for Mario & Sonic at the Olympics), and also Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, ZombiU and the third party ones like Batman: Arkham City, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, etc etc.
Plus Super Smash Bros is coming out this year and it'll be worth it just for that. And down the line there'll be a new Zelda, Metroid, etc.
What I mean is - where is our free wii mote!!!!!????!!!!??? Come on Funtendo, help us out we live in rip off Britain
Maybe more of the Wii U's will shift this way!

The wheel is the most useless piece of plastic accessory for anyone other than your grandma that wants to hone proper skills with the game. second hand or third party wii remotes can be picked up for less than a tenner....we seriously have the better deal.

Fair enough but by then it won't include a free game.. games will be cheaper I guess though.
