Spotted in the Daily Record (advert on Page 14) - probably be in Daily Mirror as well.

Seems to be in store only and states offer ends on Xmas Eve.

Thought it was a pretty decent price.

The console is £129.99 and you get to pick ONE of the games mentioned free of charge.

Hope it is useful to some.
HMV has currently Make your First Order and you and the referrer both get 20% Off campaign, if you want to use it you can do so from this .

Everybody is jumping all over the person who said a 4gb hard drive is not … Everybody is jumping all over the person who said a 4gb hard drive is not enough, but he is right.Games like Battlefield have large installs for HD texture packs and this sort of thing will become more common as the current console generation ages. Another popular game Forza4 comes with an extra disc with half of the cars in the game on it that you need to install if you want to use them.

The hi-res texture pack for Battlefield 3 or the extra cars for Forza will fit on the 4GB of space you get with this console.

I do agree that it's preferable to get a hard drive, but this console allows you to play over 99% of all games released on the 360, online or offline. You can also add a hard drive (or external storage via USB/external hard drive) to it at any time.

I've owned an Xbox 360 with a big hard drive for years and would have managed with 4GB.

I think the only thing I've used my hard drive for is to install games so that they supposedly run quicker, but I haven't even noticed any difference. That and save states obviously.

You just sign in using your Sky ID through the Sky Player app, no need for Multiroom.

4 gig is enough to start you off,i had that an then got a slim 20 gig from china for £6 so 24 is more than enough if you dont install games

    wow I didn't know that. Is this xbox 360 specific ? I have a ps3 at the moment ...
  25. Cantona's avatar
Ok done some research, seems to be xbox specific but the big catch is you need to have xbox live account so you would be paying another subscription albeit a different one.

You should be able to watch via your pc or IPad, IPod touch etc. You can register two devices as well as your sky box to receive a cut down number of channels, but some of the best ones that is. It's called SKYgo. Hopefully this link will work.

good price and why are some of you giving cold for the hard drive size it still a good deal
  28. deleted167625's avatar
Would have as good deal. But Battlefield 3 with must have textures installed and karkand maps itself is saying using about 10gb on my xbox. Worth considering if you're wanting that game I guess.

Whats the largest drive you could attach to this? Would you be able to load games and that onto an external drive?

How do you use 'cloud' on Xbox?

    Thanks

Not as good as the recent Amazon deal, £40 more for another game (halo anniversary), 12months gold, and 250gb. In comparison to that this deal sucks.
  32. deleted292009's avatar
I sold Halo Anniversary for £22 at Cex so paid £18 more than this for 250gb and 12months gold.

Picked this up when it was £170 two months ago as a spare console (to stay at home whilst I'm at uni) for RAGE, Fifa 12 and GoW3 when all 3 had a trade-in value of £30 exactly... Still a good deal now though...

It's to stop your xbox overheating as well as the game is on your hard drive instead of your disc
