sorted byRetailers are clearing their stock for some reason... I wonder if they have been tipped that a Kinect-less Sku is incoming after E3
Only selling in 13 territories as opposed to 79 by sony,
The second best console launch in the history of gaming = not failing by a long shot
The best selling game in the current console line up even with lower resolution - Titanfall
Amalgamation of the windows stores on RT, Mobile and Xbone coming next year with a large array of windows apps
Direct X12 improvements next year
Lower production costs as DDR3 is cheaper so is the GPU and by quite a margin - Forget connect MS will take a loss on that one I'm sure
Higher profit margins on this generation of sales
Xbox 360 emulation in the works
Esram still to be ironed out seeing performance improvements
A multi billion Dollar company backing it up that isn't in trouble if the games division takes a hit
I know it will never be as powerful as the PS4 (thats why I bought one btw) but being an absolute moron is for life as we can see with the constant Trolling here
Microsoft are not stupid, cocky maybe but not stupid the xbone will go a long way which seems to upset some and thats good in my book judging by there pathetic comments and bombarding of xbox threads and deals.
Just remember this isnt a war its just gaming and having two competing systems is good, sony will do fine, microsoft will do fine and that is how any intelligent individual should want it. Competition drives improvement and helps drive costs down.
Now commence the troll onslaught but just remember I'm half sony so I see incest on the cards lol
Happy gaming, good deal, get a grip, get a life, be good to each other
anecdotal evidence it may be, but it paints a problem for MS
Or free delivery if you are a forum member.
*5 million distributed to retailers.
Not sold!
I accidentally liked this post instead of clicking reply, my bad. There should be a dislike button for inane posts.

Why though? You can't buy one without it so who is buying them or do they break easily? Maybe people are taking multiple selfies
Anyway PS4 is getting much more used in comparison to the above two devices
I'm on my PC, but my TV (via my Xbox One) was tuned into the football. Up pops a MESSAGE from my son.
"XBOX READ MESSAGE" read my sons message he sent from his Xbox 360. "CLOSE" message disappears and returns to watching Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich.
I know the troll juveniles on here might not care, but I absolutely love the voice control on mine. And Sky TV listings will get added on the One Guide over the next month or so. Which is great. For the sake of less than say 50 quid, for something I use every single day the Kinect element is well worth the money to me. Its like 15 pence per day over the first year. Only kids argue about the price of these things, any man with a full time job will just get down the shops and buy the one they like PS or XO. Kids on these threads are very tedious.
really? We have 2 PS3s (for games, bluray, DVD, catch up, nas streaming) and 2 Vitas (games on the go)... I very rarely play games now, but use PSPlus for the "free" content and automatic updates for the kids Its likely I will continue to pay for the service... but is it essential for online play for ps4? I am happy with the PS3s but would like to know with regards to PS4 as I think my lads will be wanting one come Xmas.
Also the Xbox hatred is so immature its shocking. OK the PS4 may be technically superior and priced more sensibly... but if Sony wipe the floor with MS, don't expect many price cuts and new developments.
With Sony dropping the ball several times on PS3 and fighting MS has lead to some interesting developments, e.g. PSplus! Moreover without the Original Xbox I doubt Sony would have moved much in terms of online gaming. Grow up you muppets
Sony do the same for their PS3 / Vita sales.
So your not buying one, which means that you don't own one therefore your "only works 1/3 of the time is just made up" and I know that for a fact because everyone I know including myself have no problem with it whatsoever
And your comment makes no sense either way as you get Kinect in the price you don't have to use it and which any Sony fanboy will tell you means it now comes free because when the Xbox One was £425 they all said "Your paying £100 for kinect" well now those words have come back to haunt them....

If people voted on the deal it would get very hot... but many people are not... they are voting on the console instead lol
Very good price for a very good console..
When Microsoft release it
This paints a pretty depressing picture bf4stats.com
They should have made a kinect free version.

that is 5 million sent out, most people think the true number is 4 milliion
No, I plan on buying a PS4 when it has some good games that I want to play.
You do realise that you have to pay for Playstation Plus, for the PS4 to work with multiplayer online?
This is going to go down and down, retailers are dropping the prices now, seems like a kinect-less version is on its way, so they are trying to clear stock before those come out.
It will get far below this price guessing somewhere around the £250-300 mark within a few month.
God what a stupid comment.
Believe it or not some of these childish comments are coming from people in their 30s and 40s as I found out when they infested another Xbox One deal about 3 days ago..

You don't want an xbox, you love your PS4 so why are you here?
The PS4 has better hardware but why that means that all of you post here is a mystery to me.
As far as I'm aware this is the cheapest you have been able to buy one yet so hot from me.
Xbox UK's Harvey Eagle: "[A Kinect-less Xbox One] is not in our plans at all... As we've said from the very beginning, we believe Kinect is an absolutely integral part of the Xbox One experience."
That was less than 2 months ago.
The Kinect is their only major USP. It's the only advantage they have, because it's not something Sony can patch in. Kinect's strength comes from high adoption rates - it'll become even more deeply ingrained into the console (see: Cortana). Taking it out would ruin that, and everyone knows it.
Stop spreading FUD.
Infamous started to bore me a bit. E3 will be big for both consoles.
When I mentioned streaming videos on the console, I don't mean having to actually play the video on your PC and output it to the Xbox One as an output source. I mean being able to do what the 360 and PS3 currently do, which is for the user on the console to locate the videos on their DLNA ('pull' content) and to initiate the stream on the console. This way you can sit on your sofa and select from the library of videos that you have on your DLNA without having to constantly go back and forth to initiate playback. Neither the XBOne or PS4 were able to do this on launch, and to the best of my knowledge they have not had an update to allow them to do that. If that has changed in recent months, then fair enough, I'd appreciate a new link where this feature has been announced. If it hasn't, then I'm absolutely correct in my underlying point that XBone and PS4 are both a step backwards compared to their predecessor in this very important department, with the point here being that the lack of this feature alone means the XBone fails in it's bid to be an all-in-one media solution because it's such a fundamental feature. With the PS4 it doesn't matter as much because it's not sold as an all-in-one media solution, it focuses more on games and as such you get what you pay for. This issue translates to other XBone advertised services too, such as the rubbish integration with Sky.
The "battle" referred to was the attempt to dominate the new gen console sales from launch and be the primary choice for gamers/console owners upgrading in the first wave of the "console wars". Microsoft was slated heavily during the E3 presentation when they announced always-on Kinnect and the blockage of used games and quickly backpeddled, but for them to make such serious errors shows that they were out of touch with what gamers wanted. So they lost that initial "battle" and as a result as far as we can tell (and certainly from a real life perspective) a big proportion of the XBox 360 customer base has switched to PS4 instead of going to XBone. This is an important battle to lose, because when developers design games in 2014 and 2015 and they see the XBone customer base is half the size of the PS4, which console do you think is going to get the more polished, more efficient games for the cross platform ones?
And yes, pointless "improvements" on the XBone controller. They added a bit of grip and a slight rumble to the triggers, wow. £40 for that. And really, very few people care about wireless turning off. It's not "2 controllers in 1" unless you are **** enough to be concerned about the 0.01ms lag from wireless (I don't want wired controllers so again this is entirely a gimmicky update from Microsoft). The entire "we made 19 improvements" or whatever the number was from MS was entirely laughable stuff from them. The point here is that the "upgrade" is so minimal and irrelevant to anyone who liked the 360 controller that it seems a total rip off to be shelling out £40 for a slightly more responsive thumbpad. As I said, the PS4 controller touchpad may well be useless if game designers don't use it, but if I'm having to shell out £40 for a new controller I'd much rather pay the extra for one that has additional, potentially useful technology (touchpad + speaker), that was a clear upgrade on the previous iteration.

Microsoft must be very worried with these type of numbers, especially in the uk which is normally their second strongest market.
