About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I know a lot of you hate the Xbox One (console wars are a horrible thing), but this *is* the best deal for it out there. Vote based on that.
The Day One edition has a limited edition controller (read: can be sold for a lot to kids on eBay), 'premium packaging', an exclusive Day One achievement (can also be sold for a lot on eBay), and a special decal.
It's listed as £429.99 on the Microsoft Store, has free shipping, and a 14 day money back guarantee. Top CashBack for Microsoft Store Xbox purchases currently comes in at 6.3%, bringing the total down by almost £30, to a slightly more reasonable £402.90.
I know you'll enjoy this like you enjoy Coca Cola, and it'll be served ice cold accordingly.
Ciao.

sorted byWhats pushing me towards to XB1 are:
MS will allow me to play any of my DL games on any console in the world.
I can share my games with up to 10 Family memebers
All the whiny bitchy little kids seem to be migrating to PS4.
I will probably end up with both but XB1 first.
The XBone is too restrictive, too anti consumerist, not only do I not want to buy one, which has happened with some consoles before, I now don't want anyone to buy one, first time for this. Buying this is a vote in favor anti consumerist policies, and the more people buy one the more likely those practices are to become the norm. Yes there are games for it I want to play, the controller looks badass, and xbox live will probably still be streets ahead of PSN in terms of functionality. But, those things don't even begin to make up for laundry list of **** that will go along with them.
So with that said, downvoting this, and **** YOU IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON GETTING ONE.
Personally the games look great on the Xbox one.
Seems like MS do one thing and get told off and Sony do the same and get praise

It's no longer a rational choice for any consumer.
Microsoft were willing to screw over their entire userbase just so they could get more $$$. I know that the bottom line matters for every company, but these companies should earn our cash fair and square. Not try and dictate what we can't do and infringe our consumer rights.
At least Microsoft reversed some of the policies. But remember, they didn't do it for you. They did it because they knew they'd lose money. At the end of the day anyone who buys this is misguided and supporting companies like MS who were willing to screw over everyone.

Millions buy Apple products and you dont own any of the content you purchase...
ever bought anything on steam?
no different really
and technically you dont own the games for any of the the console even the ps1
£40/£50 games are not the same as 69p fart apps.
back on topic, cash back isn't guaranteed and otherwise this is rrp so cold from me.
It does play secondhand games - You just buy a used game from a store take it home, install it and that's it. The system will then check if that particular disk has been sold by the previous owner (and then no longer run on the previous owners console - it's the same as if they had traded in the disk to the store). You can also give the game to a friend, this can only be done once though and you friend needs to have been on your friends list for at least 30 days. Also, there are absolutely No Charges for either of these actions.
The PS4 isn't backwards compatible either - it doesn't play PS3 games.
I currently own both a PS3 and a Xbox 360 & and will be keeping both so I can continue to play my current games catalogue.
I will be eventually owning both next-gen consoles, as I just have to own Infamous:Second son, Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, TitanFall and Killzone.

It is just a product at the end of the day and guess what? MS have billions they won't be exiting anytime soon and whether you like it or not people will buy the Xbox One.
Get over it.

Obviously not as irrelevant as you think!
I'm sure MS won't accept publishers limiting Xbox users selling a game where it isn't enforced on PS4 either
But the Apple games are a few pounds at most. If the Xbox games were £25 max, i would be in.
This is freezing subzero temperature!!!!
Imagine if everyone started posting as a deal every RRP out there, it would defeat the purpose of this site, jesus.
But they aren't the same thing at all.
Makes me think back to PS3 vs 360 fanboy wars in the early days
'all the little whiny kids have a 360 and go on XBL spouting crap cause they are cheaper'
Welcome to 7 years ago PS4 lol
In fairness its always been the same on both sides, why I gave up on MP games. No one wants to hear about your boring life that you big up online to sound cool. Play the game and shut up
I agree, the Xbox One is a more interesting and forward thinking console than PS4. I think Microsoft made a complete hash of their recent press confrences and failed to comunicate the advantages of an always online model. The games are registered to your account after installing, so even if you lose or damage the disk, you can just download the game from Xbox live as Microsft knows you already own that game. You will not have to keep swapping discs to play all your games as they are all fully installed to the hdd.
Another benifit is being able to share your library of games with family and friends digitally. I currently will not lend my 360 games to my younger brothers as I know they will most likly scratch them. On Xbox One however I can lend games from my library which they can download. The discs will stay on my shelf.
The PS4 is like an update of the ps3 but with better graphics and a dvr. Whereas I feel the Xbox One has a true next gen feature set that will provide new and better experiences. It has proven itself as a gaming focused machine with an promising lineup of exclusive games.
Not a lot. A special achievement for your live account and a controller with day one edition stamped on it from what I can see.
Might not add the achievement code and see if they sell on eBay once they've sold out of day one editions. The joypad as well if turns out people want them!
Are you actually 11? There is an age limit on this site, you know.
Xbox may have sold more in UK but the PS3 is still more popular for gaming.
The DRM reason is now no more (which I agree was a stupid idea from Microsoft especially if Playstation werent also doing it)... and as for the comments such as "its less powerful" etc..... how do you know? Because some PS fanboy out there has written it? How many of you actually understand the inner workings of the console hardware? And if the PS4 is more powerful so what? A BMW in the hands of the Stig could go round a track faster than I could in a Buggatti. It all comes down to how you use it and tbh there wont be that much difference in the Hardware....
A Games Console with the key word been "Games" not Console. The games at release are much better than what the PS4 had to show at E3.... the graphics looked crisper, the games more in depth and the exclusives (COD first on Xbox) blew away the PS4....
All the PS4 said at E3 was..... were not doing DRM and they are.... They spent more time attacking the Xbox than promoting the PS. I'd rather hear why there product is good than hear why they think the competition is bad....
You have to be 13 to join the site.
The exit is here.
Bless this - at least some people will still be persevering with the XBONE then.
This is all getting very silly now, nobody really knows which console is going to be best.. I'm what you might call a 360 "fanboy" but I had a pre-order in for the PS4 due to the pre-owned nonesense.. since that was dropped I realised that I simply didnt know which console to go for, it would have been the xbox one out of loyalty but they lost that when they tried to screw over gamers.
So I've cancelled pre-orders and Im going to wait it out, time will tell which is best and I'm happy to wait for that.. I've got a huge backlog of quality games on the 360 that I still need to play as well as a busy social life and a family to care for, frankly I no longer give a crap.
As soon as one console proves itself to be better/more popular than the other I will make my choice but until then leave me out of the console war because it's pathetic.
Fair shout, is it okay if I put it in, but also have the main price in there too?
Yes, no problem at all with that
