About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Member of staff in GAME earlier today showed me this deal. Forza Horizon 2 was from a choice of 3 games (can't remember the other 2) while Shadow of Mordor can't be changed.

One of the better instore deals for an Xbox One and a great price for anyone wanting both games with both most likely being physical copies too.

It would be nice if they weren't so crazy with their regular/preorder … It would be nice if they weren't so crazy with their regular/preorder prices. Unfortunently they probably won't do anything about them even though you and I have both told them they are silly (I've emailed them before about it). I'd preorder from them more if they didn't inflate the prices so much. I like Game as a store there not to bad but the prices do make me look elsewhere unless the game I'm after is on offer then sometimes it's cheaper than elsewhere.

That's how I feel. With the ease of trading in for a good price (price match) and the wide selection of new and used games, I do like them. However the prices are just ridiculous, I mean they were one of the most expensive before they bumped the price up by £9. Its just crazy. I'd pay a few more £ to use them when you consider the trade in credit but not £10+. That's just too much. They really need to sort themselves out but sadly they probably never will. I too will only really use them for the odd random good offers.

I really wanted that steel book edition of this it looks so dam awesome but I'm not paying £55 for it, it was £45 and I would have paid that. I'm not going to now. I assumed the price would be the same today and I was gonna preorder it but the clowns put it up today.

this is about the going rate isn't it at the mo? There seems to have been a raft of deals for X1 + Fifa/Destiny/Sunset OD/Forza (whichever one is flavour of the day it seems) for around the £330 mark, plus the SoM (already on here for £37).....

Very good deal, considering the games you are getting with it.

Good deal. Considering you are getting 2 new October games. Most Xbox One console only deals are around £300 so you are paying £35 each for Forza Horizon 2 and Shadow of Mordor which are cheapest prices available at the moment.

    Heat added.

Shadow of Mordor is £55 in store apparently oO And online is £49.99 but over the last week or so it was £40.99. I've actually taken the time to finally send them a proper email about how crazy their prices are.

Is it really that good of a deal? I saw this too today but it doesn't seem so to me. You can get the Xbox and Forza for £319.99, so £50 for Shadow of Mordor...that's why I didn't order it. The Argos deal seems a lot better.

i checked yesterday, it was at tesco with the £10 off £100 spend code I think it was, it's £329 without the code.

Game are doing the Xbox One with Forza Horizon 2 for £349.99 so you're getting Shadow of Mordor for £20 which is pretty nice. Gonna be picking this up myself as I have game points to spend.

Direct only showing it as £349 so I guess £339 with the code.

when they were selling ps4 games at launch for £60......

the irony of the trade in beat means that theyre going to be even more inclined to charge full RRP for new games

Makes it a great deal, anyone been instore today and seen Minecraft included in this deal?
  16. flibblesan's avatar
Stores are refusing to include Minecraft with this deal, claiming that Minecraft is only available online. Game help on twitter told me that it's an online-only offer so worth ordering if you want Minecraft, else it's £13 in store.

Couldn't give two hoots about the extra 50 quid extra I paid, I love mine. And this _always_ happens to every console. Gets cheaper over time.

Love Kinect control of my TV. Love Destiny. Love how silent it is.

Just seen a Game trade-in in-store offer that is pretty good.

You can get this deal for £269.99 if you trade-in a PS3 or Xbox 360 and 5 games. Definitely worth considering this deal as it's a limited time offer. I think it ends on 16th October.

Although not listed on-line (only a PS4 deal is listed) this offer is one of the best around at the moment.

Was there any specification on what games they needed to be?

This is the kind of trade in I'd do!

Almost anything except FIFA and a couple of other Sports games.
I rang my local Game about it today to see if this offer was still on and they said yes. Just make sure your local Game is still doing it before you make the trip.

Does this instore one include Minecraft like the online version does?

    game.co.uk/en/…Id=

Looking to buy an Xbox One and this seems a good deal as I want Forza. Shadow of Mordor would be for sale though if I do go for it. Addition of Minecraft would swing it
