sorted bysorry to say that it will not bring your insurance down unless it is connected to a phone and monitored by a security company then i think it will lower your insurance by around 25%, hope that helps

If you get this you will probably need more sensors and door contacts...The Yale website has more information about the kit and an informative FAQ.
I saw these last week and have been considering buying one, but do i really need it?
Will it bring down the price of home insurance, or will it just attract people thinking we've got something worth nicking?
I'm not sure if an alarm system run purely on batteries is a good idea or not?
Perhaps others who may have this can give their opinion on it?
Others considering this, may mind this useful locksonline.co.uk/fil…pdf

At one point B & Q were doing the sensors 3 for £20 and I'm sure they still had some about a month ago in my local...
I'll have to look in B&Q and see how much additional key fobs are.
You can buy just a wireless keypad which you can add on. BUT check you can do this with this model on the Yale website.
This would be a better option than buying several keyfobs.
There are sometimes sellers of this kind of stuff on ebay as well.
I still voted hot as it's a great offer and probably available in some areas.
Dont know if it's the same everywhere else but the only offer they had was to buy the Alarm AND the Safe for £30. I only wanted the alarm for £15 so I didnt bother.
thanks you saved me a wasted trip down there
voted hot regardless
Another store only had the safes @ £15.
May try other stores tomorrow.
and thanks to op
Still worked out cheaper than buying all the components separately.
Check out Ebay for extra bits. You can usually get them cheaper than Homebase etc there.
Does anyone know what the differences are between the alarm with the safe and the one on its own for £15?
Even though they come in one big box?
or is it 15 quid each
thanks
Am going to pop to my Cwmbran and Newport stores this afternoon before I give up hope! Going on holiday soon so this should be some extra assurance if I can get it
BTW the safe came in at £5 on the till!!
Well Done,
Still scanning at £15 in my local.
I still can't find these alarms on their own.
The alarm that comes in the combi pack, i'm sure is this one on Tesco Direct selling at a staggering £99.79 direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx
I saw them in my local Home Plus, but refused to price match B&Q :x
Just been down to two more stores and all of them only have the HSA3200 alarm kits for £40
Just to point out that the Focus price for this is not a national one. It was priced at £129.99 in the Cramlington branch yesterday. I think it might just be the branches which are closing down (marked 'stock clearence store' on thier storefinder page) that have them for this price.
Went down to another Newport branch and they had one left... scanned through at £15!
Very chuffed. Thanks very much!
The strange thing is that the £15 alarm kit contains exactly the same components as the £39.95 HSA3200 kit, which was right next to it! (The HSA3200 kit comes in a fancier retail box, but identical components).
Yeah, i notice these have had a tenner knocked their price as well, plus plenty of availabilty as well.
Worth posting as a deal on it's own.
sorry replying to quote made by huggychair not worked out this Quote thingy yet.
Has anybody had any problems with the hsa3200? Me and my brother brought one each Have not fitted mine yet but my brother's alarm kept going off in the middle of the night and took his back. has anyone else had similar problems?
After discussing with the wife, we've decided not to go for it.
If anyone wants it pm me and i'll give you the store and reservation name
